We are looking for someone to help out around our busy home in exchange for food and accommodation. We have 2 gorgeous boys aged 5 and 7 yrs, 2 small dogs, a pony, a horse and 5 ducks. We are renovating our house and working on the garden, so there is always something to do. We both run our own businesses so we may need you to look after the boys at times, or help with work in house or garden. If you have carpentry, painting or other home maintenance skills we may ask you to help with work on the house. If you are experienced and comfortable with horses, we may need assistance with feeding or working the horses. You will have your own bedroom with one queen sized bed, with a separate, shared bathroom and toilet. We live around 1.5 hours from Melbourne, 5 minutes drive from a public bus, in hilly, green South Gippsland. Experience working with young children is preferable, but if you have the right personality and skills, experience is not essential. Strictly NO SMOKERS. No drugs or ... more inside

Ri and Neil live in lovely Bacchus Marsh (a town 40 min from Melbourne, Geelong and Ballarat). Ri is a ceramic artist and works in her home-based studio. Neil works at Melbourne University in research computing.

Over the past couple of years we have had a fabulous experience hosting French, Spanish and German couples who have helped us with all sorts of house things (e.g, painting, garden work, kiln fabrication), as well as being wonderful company.

We continue with our seemingly never-ending program of home improvements. So our current set of tasks are
- weeding and distributing mulch and other garden jobs
- distributing and compacting a gravel area (already made)
- replacing some garden bed bordering

So if you fancy some garden fun, please drop us a line.

We are looking for engaging and interested visitors who are willing to have a go. We prefer couples aged 25 and over who have some basic handy-person skills and some outdoors/gardening experience. ... more inside

We have a large holiday home and need help with the garden and some maintenance. It has got a bit out of hand. It is in the Mountains in a beautiful area. We are 1.5 hours from the ski fields and in summer we have swimming in the river. We are 99km from Melbourne. There is a bus service close by.
We would love to share it with you. If you could give us 4 hours help per day for full board. I think you would enjoy it. We have had help before and it has been very successful. We are not rigid with the working and have found in the past that a few days working then time for exploring or doing what you want seems to work well.
It Is summer at present - good for swimming in the river.
Trout fishing is famous in the beautiful river and surrounds.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Available till August. Itís beautiful. Our favourite time is Autumn.

Sustainability is our aim and passion, we are fun loving honest people. We would love to get some help with our day to day vegie farm tasks. If you have skills building that would be welcomed as there are plenty of building plans to meet. Web designer would also be appreciated to help me set up a web page for our business. Hi Travellers, My name is Tom and I have 28 hectares (70 Acres) of regrowth forest in Glenlyon, Victoria, with a couple of cleared hectares in which the residence and gardens sit overlooking the river flat.

It is burning off season, so i'm having fun with bonfires..
The river flat is in the process of being cleaned up, quite a bit of fallen timber is being sliced up and taken to the woodyard.
The property is off grid, solar powered, aiming for self sufficiency, and full of interesting wildlife.
My main short term aim is to clean up the area around the house of fallen timber in preparation for the coming fire season. I am rushing about making the place bushfire safe setting up a circle of water throwers and getting places ready to install a couple more water tanks. So I'm burning off and cutting wood and chugging around on a tractor dragging things around. Clearing the blackberries, and lugging the trailer full of logs up to the woodyard and get it full and ready for winter. ... more inside

We are a horse property that teaches and trains many classes of riders with their horses and have a very strong emphasis on showjumping and general horsemanship. We require assistance from a genuine horse lover who thrives in the outdoors and has a passionate thirst to learn.

Assistance with general property maintenance, gardening, tidying etc is also required, and the individual should be able to carry out tasks with minimal supervision.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a competent rider to improve your horse skills and depending on the time of your stay, to travel throughout Victoria & interstate with frequent outings to horse competitions.

Located only 45km from Melbourne, with access to metropolitan public transport, we are very conveniently situated to allow helpers to be independent during their stay.

We have one German speaking member in our family, however we are open to anyone who has basic English skills.

We are looking for a helper with excellent hors... more inside
