We live on a 5 acre property in the valley behind Port Douglas with our 3 year old (as of 2020). It is a beautiful, peaceful rural environment with great natural activities right nearby. We have a HUGE garden that requires maintenance which will be the bulk of the work, but we also need house maintenance/spring cleaning from time to time. Accommodation is either guest quarters with en suite bathroom and kitchenette, or a self contained pool house that has a kitchen, bathroom and hot outdoor shower, with a real bed in a bug-proof enclosure in a nearby shed. There's always something to be done around here, so we are also interested to hear about people with trades or special skills!

G’day! Happy to take in short term stays. I am located approximately 30 minutes from the Brisbane city. There are bus stops within walking distance.

The Goldcoast and Sunshine Coast are approx. 1 hour drive from our place. Public transport is just a short walk to the buses or a short drive to the trains. I also have a bicycle that you can borrow to get around on.

I have one small dog and occasionally another, so I would love to have someone that feels comfortable living with our pets as they are part of the family.

I work full time during the week so household chores and gardening are the main jobs. Required are 3 hours a day from Monday-Friday & 4 hours across Saturday/Sunday - we are flexible with days and hours. Staple food is included (milk, butter, snacks) but main meals you will need to cater for yourself - will have a fridge and plenty of pantry space for you. Some jobs include outdoor garden work, weeding, mowing, trimming plants/trees, watering the garden. ... more inside

Hello! We are a family based in brisbane and we have three kids (including baby twins). We are looking to host a female or couple to live with us in exchange for help with holding a baby every now and then, washing, cooking, gardening, organising and cleaning. Approximately 4 hours each person per day. We have one helper already and think another helper would lighten everyone’s load and could be fun!

You would have your own double room, a bathroom (shared with our other helper) and we have a gym, spa and swimming pool. We would provide your food as well. We would be looking for someone starting as soon as possible and would be happy to have you for up to 6 months (all things going well between us).

The area has lots of bush walks and bike tracks. We have two big dogs (so you need to be comfortable with dogs).

As we have small children at home we will not take smokers of any kind.

With the current covid19 situation we would expect you to practice social distancing and... more inside

This is a sugar cane farm situated 18km north of Proserpine. Not far from Airle Beach and Whitsundays.
Car license and own vehicle would be an advantage in order to access Proserpine and surrounding areas but not necessary. This is a Farm stay,Home stay, and there are a variety of chores, if you prefer house and yard work that’s fine, but there is also some farm related tasks from tractor work to irrigation and other general shed work if you would like to help me with those. My wife and I live on the farm, our children have moved away so there is only the two of us. At the moment we have 1 cat a young dog and a horse. My wife is a teacher, and I obviously work the farm. Also i have 1 beehive, which is so interesting and i am learning more about it and the uses for its produce.
It is very quiet where we live, so if you are looking for some peace and quiet to get away.
My Family has hosted exchange students in the past and it has been very fulfilling, sharing different cultures..
