hi all I'm a sole parent with 2 school age children
doing a backyard blitz and installing outdoor bath kitchen etc
so if your qualified or just handy with a paintbrush etc
I'm looking for someone that is experienced in carpentry/building/plumbing/paving/gardening/brickwork etc or even just interested and is able bodied in exchange for accomodation and a meal if needed (can be negotiated) in an amazing pristine holiday area of the Margaret river region
so if your near Dunsborough or would like to work here during the summer and need accomodation I also have space for a van to park in privacy etc
if not experienced in the above it's always good to have help around the house so if you love spending time with active children or cleaning gardening maintenance etc give me a buzz.

I am ideally looking for someone that is wanting to stay for longer than a week but that is also fine I say this because everyday may not be work so they can also get a paid job in the area to... more inside

the "Valley" a small acre farm in the Perth Hills. This is producing organic fruit and vegies for my family, I have based my garden designs on permaculture principles, having completed a design certificate many years ago. We have a small vineyard, olive grove, orchid trees and a large vegetable garden. Complete with small animals and a dog.
Location is in the beautiful Perth Hills with forest and bike riding tracks in close proximity, nearest town is Mundaring, 5 minutes drive.
The work is 4 hours per day, right now I need help with the vegetable garden, preparing the gardens for spring plantings, composting, we also have pruning the vineyard and helping with the house and kids
It is springtime for us and a very busy time, its still chilly but beautiful and green everywhere and we have glorious veggies in abundance.
I work Monday Tuesday Wednesday with my own business as a physiotherapist and try and spend the rest of my days working in my beautiful garden and spending time with... more inside

We are a family owned & run cattle station in the South West Pilbara. We are looking for help with raising poddy calves, feeding chooks, gardening, general homestead duties & if people are interested, general station maintenance & stock work in exchange for free board, meals & accommodation. We have a very picturesque station with plenty of great camping spots & are only 4 hours from Coral Bay & Exmouth.

At this stage, we do not have air conditioned accommodation so summer months can be quite warm. I run a team of working dogs & also have 3 maremma guard dogs who help protect our younger cattle for those that are dog lovers. Minimum of 1 month stay is preferred. We are quite isolated, own 4wd vehicle is ideal but some smaller vehicles can make it in our 90km driveway.

We have 2 chickens Thelma and Louise for eggs, and two border collies Molly and Jack and two cats Tiger and Missy who love company.

We are foodies and love to share different cuisines. Lee is a massage therapist(bit of a bonus)and we both enjoy welcoming Helpx to our home, and then become our extended family- we enjoy showing our region site seeing.

Lee needs help with the garden and vegetable beds and seasonal mulching of our fruit trees, and just general company would be lovely.

We supply a comfortable queen room with own bathroom/food and amenities in our home in exchange for 4 hours per day however we are flexible and are prepared to negotiate, and Bridgetown is a simply beautiful river town with good shopping, hospitality, library and amenities.
