Hi,
I will not be hosting this summer but things might change...you can always contact me...
I recently moved above my shop which is in Torquay 2 min from the sea with my two daughters. We also have a cocker spaniel. The shop is open 5 days a week and I need some help with the kids and the dog and maybe the shop. Both of the kids are at school from 8.45 till 15.15 and I don't need anyone every day. But sometimes I will need help at weekends. There are no difficult task around here - just helping a bit with the household and the kids and maybe the shop. If you love the sea side and would love to be part of a little family - please get in touch. We need help from April. As the kids are young I prefer people who can stay longer periods as too much change might upset them. Ideal is 3 to 6 months.

Looking forward to meeting you:)

Anita

Ps..I used to own a hotel so the reviews are from that period. I do not own the hotel any more.

We have a large variety of projects on the go from building sheds to 12v solar/wind systems and rocket mass heaters to apple tree guilds. We are interested in planting edible/medicinal plants and already have some on the go ready to harvest for tintures! Our work varies between building, gardening, animals and holiday lets. Exciting :)
Nick normally works full-time at home finishing and experimenting with new ideas whilst Rosie works full-time as a primary school teacher.
Nicks family also live at home, so there's always lots going on and we often eat communally :)

Accommodation is in a cosy caravan with a beautiful view, surrounded by trees.

We live on a beautiful farm near Ullapool in the Highlands of Scotland surrounded by hills by a sea loch and with a lively village seven miles away. Accommodation is usually a mobile home with a shower and heating, adjacent to the farmhouse but warmer arrangements are made in the winter. We farm cows, and help is needed with feeding them, fencing, basic joinery and general farm work as well as drivng, and sometimes helping with the NHS hindcull, which is an amazing experience. Helpxes generally enjoy themselves and we have enjoyed having them. The highland experience is very unique, the people interesting and friendly. There will be an experienced supervisor and the next door farms have volunteers too who will socialise with those helping here in the local village which has live music. We find helpxes over 25 as they can drive on our insurance most suitable and those who like the outdoor life and are strong fit, responsible and eager to learn new skills enjoy themselves the most. There gare 3 hectares in total, we have half and the other half belongs to friends.
