Hi I am looking for a HelpX to start ASAP as I am getting super busy with the Eggucation schools work. We start lambing on 28th March so a pair of hands and eyes be fab to help out!

I own and run a schools hatching programme using eggs from my champion rare breed hens. The chicks come back to my 6 acre smallholding with fabulous views on the northern edge of Sheffield and the Peak District. I run this with my three children aged 19, 17 and 11. We also have rare breed sheep and goats, three horses, four dogs, two cats and two turkeys - so lots of interesting animals! You will need to love animals here!

I would like someone who has initiative and can work from a list and be self motivated! Also someone who is used to animals and wishes to learn more about their husbandry.

I would like someone to do help out with daily jobs looking after the livestock, and will have sheep lambing in the Spring!! Also building fences and sheds, gardening, and some decorating and restoration i... more inside

We would like to hear from prospective helpers who would like to stay with us in 2019.
Your enthusiastic HelpXer input is needed to help bring back 5 hectares of beautiful south east facing down land in East Sussex back in to use after being neglected for many years. Lots of chopping, cutting, mowing and strimming. Chain saw skills an advantage. The new fencing is complete, and 7 lovely Herdwick sheep have arrived to help with the grazing and will lamb in April. I am currently researching the possibility of growing vines on half of the south facing field, and am preparing for a campsite next season The veg garden is up and running thanks to Michael and our helpers last year, and needs planting, weeding and maintaining to keep up supplies of lovely veg. to eat. The land is about 1.5 km from the house and is an easy cycle or pleasant walk through the fields via a footpath. We would also like help with DIY and other jobs at our home which is in need of some TLC.

I have just recently moved back from France and now live on the edge of Dartmoor - the moor is outside my front door. I am 10 miles from Plymouth and near to some of the most beautiful beaches in the country.
I have been working on renovating the house and now the better weather is coming I need to think about the garden.
I need a raised deck building in my sloping garden and some french doors fitted as well as general gardening.
Please contact me if you think you could help me. I think it would take about 2 weeks. You would need to have some carpentry skills.

My name is Teresa and I own and run Treseissyllt Farm in Pembrokeshire, south west Wales.
I grew up in Wales and after university, lived and worked in London for a number of years. During that time I travelled extensively to many parts of the world.
I returned to Wales to renovate the farm twelve years ago.

THE AREA
The farm is situated on the coast in the amazing PEMBROKESHIRE NATIONAL PARK between Fishguard and the small city of St. Davids with its famous cathedral.
There is direct access to the beach, cliffs and the world-famous coastal path.
Fishguard is the nearest place for shopping, cinema, cafes etc., and there are good bus and train connections to other parts of Wales and the UK.

There are lots of local activities which include hiking, swimming, surfing, kayaking, music, photography, castles and arts and crafts to name but a few.

THE FARM
Treseissyllt is a small (20 hectares/50 acres) traditional farm with a flock of Welsh pedigree sheep, 3 horses and a... more inside

I am a retired English teacher with an interest in all things organic. I live with my husband Richard who is a computer manager, and our newest family member, a rather naughty little puppy.
We have built a straw bale house in our garden, We keep bees and run a Community Orchard. We are looking for a native Spanish speaker with a good accent to speak Spanish to our grandchildren, who live down the road from me. They are 3 and 5 years old.
We will probably now not need any help until the Spring, February at the earliest. Then we have decking to power wash and re-paint, sails to put in place, some painting - both external and internal - and a brick walll to build.
Plus the normal garden, house and child care work.
In return I will help the volunteer to improve their English, and you have a nice bedroom and bathroom and good food which is mainly vegetarian.
We have an internationally renowned Art Gallery in Wakefield, a wonderful Sculpture Park, and the University city of Le... more inside

Hi Paul here, I'm looking for a helper from now onwards.
I run a small Glamping site on our farm in Oxfordshire, we usually cater for around 15 guests each weekend and sometimes some in the week too. Glamping accommodation comprises of, painted caravans , shepherds hut, horse lorry, caravan and bell tents, our guests also have use of a party barn.
Helpers jobs will be very varied and may include: helping build and repair Eco-buildings, painting, cleaning washing and ironing on changeover, planting flowers and watering, BBQing, cooking and general handy work. No experience is required and it's a wonderful life and we have great fun.
Changeovers are the busiest time of the week, Sunday's and Thursday's, the rest of the time it's just as and when there are things to do, but if I say perhaps 6 or 7 hours a days that will more than cover it.
In return for your help, you will get your own bed, own room in the farmhouse, all meals will be provided and you are welcome to join in the our... more inside
