We are a busy working family located near small township of Gravesend, approx. 50 Km's from Moree. We have a small farm where we breed cattle, and grow crops for grain production and fattening cattle.

We would like someone to help us complete light duties around the house such as gardening, house chores, cooking. We have separate accommodation, a studio flat with its own amenities.

You will also have exposure to an Australian working farm. Love of animals and children is a must. We have an active boy who loves the outdoors.

Own transport is advisable due to remoteness. We can collect from Moree if required from bus or train. Speaking English is a strong preference due to small child and busy working schedule.

Look forward to meeting some lovely people travelling around Australia.

We are a creative and eccentric hippy family of two big people and 7 little ones, from 2 to 12 years old. We're chaotically harmonious, loud, exuberant, spontaneous, passionate, and there's always something going on, with a few tantrums thrown in as we've 4 little boys under the age of 5. We have a huge amount going on every day, as we homeschool by naturally learning with our children, so EVERYTHING is an enlightening and growing experience. We're also increasing our range of musical instruments, and learning music our own innovative ways. I - Hellena - am also a spinster and crochet artist, and write on a blog, while my partner Currawong is a performance drummer, gardner and general good bloke. And we're looking for people to help us artify our home and environment, work on creating an adult/kid play environment, and with the domestic chaos that follows having so many beautiful and lively kids around. If you really love hanging out with enthusiastic and affectionate kids, he... more inside

We are a young family of 6 requiring help around the house and garden. In the backyard we have fruit trees, veggies and herbs, and a few chooks and Guniea fowl.
The sorts of things to help with include weeding, mulching, composting, pruning, and landscaping projects.

Around the house, we need help with things like tidying up, cleaning, hanging out washing, and sometimes babysitting.

In exchange for 4 hours work per day, we offer accommodation in our comfortably furnished retrofitted caravan and cooked meals, which are often organic, mostly vegetarian/ free-range eggs, and sometimes meat.

We acquired a new property some 6 months ago and have established the main buildings. The next step in the project is to establish animal areas, an orchard, vege gardens and composting beds.

The main focus is permaculture and alternative organic building designs.

The property is off the grid power, spring-fed and rain water and is naturally treed. The aim is to use the natural elements off the property to develop it into an organic oasis where peoples of all ages, nations and ideologies love to share their experiences.
