We are looking for help starting the 20th January for a week or so. We need help looking after our dogs and some general sorting out of the garden and house now that the B&B is closed for a couple of months.

Situated in a small village in the middle of the Madiran & St Mont wine regions of South West France & close to Pau, Tarbes & the Pyrenees. We have local shops, a bar and swimming pool (jul/aug only) within a short walking distance.

I am english and my partner, Jean Pierre, is french. He speaks very little english, so ideally we are looking for helpers who have a reasonable grasp of french, but he has the patience of a saint when I am grasping with the language !!

Current tasks/ work in hand : dog walking, feeding the animals as well as painting and tidying up the garden .

For some light relief, we have three dogs; one lurcher/lab cross (Poppy) who loves everybody, but is getting on a bit and needs exercising gently, and two, seven year olds (Mutley and Je... more inside

Our small family farm is part of a typical quiet rural hamlet. We produce organic walnuts, Cameroun sheep and red label pigs. We have a renovation project in a huge "maison de maître" that belongs to the farm where we would wish to create a family and friends home where we could host upto 15 persons.The area around the farm is very beautiful with lots of places to visit.

Hi

I am an English women in her 40s renovating a farmhouse on 8 acres of land with fantastic views of the Pyrenees. I would love some help with a wide variety of jobs inside and out as another pair of hands makes a big difference.

I am particularly interested in empowering women of all ages to travel in this way and to learn to do DIY for themselves. I like to think of my home as being part learning and exchange and part retreat. It is very quiet where I live and perfect for time out to read, write, do yoga. I like to go hiking in the mountains too and you could join me with that.

Jobs vary depending on weather and, to an extent, what you are interested or skilled in but currently include:
lime plastering and repointing inside and out;
putting up a plasterboard ceilings;
plastering walls;
painting and decorating;
gardening - mostly clearing/strimming and maintenance of vegetable gardening;
Plus I have an 1960 Massey Ferguson which would welcome some tin... more inside

I am looking for one or two people for a few days work, gardening, cutting down and clearing land - heavy work I cannot do myself. If you are travelling through south-west France, please stop by.

I have a beautiful house, overlooking the Lot, upriver from Cahors. This is not a place with a big group of helpers, and I don't want to be with you / look after you all the time, (although I certainly provide all food and wine, and you have your own room en suite.).There is no bar in the village, so unless you are quite happy on your own, this is better for a couple or two friends.

I run singing workshops and circle dance, so if you are musical, this is the place for you.

If you are traveling around here and don't want to work, you can stop over for 15 euros a night.

I live in south west France where I run a small BnB. In the summer I occasionally need some help with general housekeeping and looking after guests as well as some maintenance. It would also be good to have somebody to help in the garden.
I exchange for 4-5 hours a day 5 days a week you will have your own room and meals. Free unlimited WIFI available. The area is very rural with no public transport, although I am situated in a small town. It is a particularly beautiful area surrounded by vineyards.
