My husband and I own a hostel 35 mins of Taupo, 30 mins of Rotorua and 10 min to the cute little town of tokoroa. We need help with simple chores around the hostel. Painting, tidying of rooms, and possibly manning our cozy bar/restaurant. We have horses, chooks, ducks, dogs, and goats-you must be alright with the occasional dog pat. :) We are happy to provide a lovely room and 2 meals a day from our restaurant for 4 hours a day of work. We gladly will give you days off to explore. A good work ethic necessary! Also some skills especially needed is joinery/carpentry and plumbing. They would be greatly appreciated!

500 acres sheep and cattle farm. I run my farm with sustainability and environmental goals both short and long term. This includes general farm practice aswell as establishing self sufficiency through fruit and nut trees planted in unison with various native trees, shrubs and plants. A good vege garden, milking a cow and making cheese ect. Fencing is an ongoing project here also. My home is a big 3 bedroom two story solid 1970s house with beautiful established garden and grounds plus a self contained sleep out (unattached) I'm a shearer with experience in the tourism industry.

We are a small family of three, living in an old villa. we live in a small country town, and travel to Rotorua regularly and would be happy to take you over with us when we go over.

My daughter and I have been renovating a 1900's villa, however I have injured myself and can now no longer complete the rest of the work. I am therefore looking for someone who can plaster and or paint, general DIY activities.

I would look at having a couple stay together as long as one one person is able to DIY and the other is welcome to help in the garden for a few hours a week, to help cover costs.
I have 2 bedrooms which need completing and kitchen and dinning room. I also have some gardening which is just spraying weeds, and ripping out old plants.

I will supply a large bedroom with a double bed, free internet, and meals.

welcome,
we live on a small piece of land , surrounded by native bush and across the harbour from raglan. I am a homebirth midwife and my partner a builder and our two children 7 and 4. we are homeschooling. we are accessible by road but we use the water to get to Raglan which takes about ten minutes. We would organise for you to get across the harbour when you needed or you would have our kayaks at your use. we are always aware of the moon cycle, the tides and the weather. we have an outdoor composting toilet and outdoor bath and shower which we would share. we have a small sleepout with double bed (and power)for you to stay and will provide vegetarian meals.

UNTIL THE 16TH OF JUNE we are looking for someone/couple to help with our day to day family life. I have a busy month with midwifery and would really appreciate anyone that could be around with the children while i am at visits, or if i am called out to births and could maybe help make a yummy meal sometimes.

Hi,
We are after 1 (or 2 if travelling together) to help us during the busy season on our dairy farm and experience a real kiwi farm.

We milk 450 cows and are based just out of Te Kauwhata only an hour from Auckland or 45 minutes to Hamilton. And only an hour to the beautiful Coromandel!

We have 3 children (aged 8, 6 and 5) plus you have to love animals; on top of our 450 cows we have 2 dogs, 3 cats and 7 chickens!

Accommodation is a private room but using the family bathroom.

For 4 hours per day we will give you great meals and board plus free WIFI. We can also provide a car if required so you can explore our beautiful country.

Start date is around the 13th July for 6-8 weeks. Time off is 2 days per week (probably Sunday and Monday but we are flexible!).

Work will include a mixture of in house and on farm; looking after the kids and helping them to get ready for school, washing and vacuuming, helping feed calves and general farm work.
