Hello Travellers,

A little about what we have on offer throughout the year:
We have Geese, cows, chooks, pigs, ducks, bees, horses....and an abundance of wildlife.
We`re a family of six and live in a beautiful rural valley on the edge of Victoria`s High Country. It`s about 30 minutes drive from the City of Wodonga. We are able to transport you to/ from airport/ station. We would like to welcome someone (preferably non-smoker) to help with general gardening, animal maintenance and jobs in and outside (no experience required) in exchange for meals and accommodation. We all enjoy food and have wonderful, fresh produce on offer.

We look forward to you adding to our family and us making your travels enjoyable!

We are now available to a suitable single person or couple for both indoor and outdoor support, for about 2 weeks.
We can promise great food in comfortable surroundings.
We are living in a rural atmosphere and have good access to public transport for traveling to Melbourne.
We have 4 grown up children, this has helped us to understand young people travelling.
We joined helpX and have hosted several helpx and found it to be a great experience
Our life work has running our own business in hospitality. We would like some help with a new venture and with the garden.
Only apply if you are already in Australia and must have contactable referees.

Well established (20 years) B&B only 9 klms from Daylesford, a popular tourist destination in the mineral spa country. Mandala has mud brick and eco-friendly timber buildings with extensive gardens in tranquil setting.

The dwelling set up for Helpx guest is currently Upstairs Bedroom inside residence with queen bed, ceiling fan and walk in wardrobe for storing personal belongings. Shared bathroom facilities.

We are flexible when it comes to work hours and time off etc. Ideally we would like 15 hrs per week. Most of the work would be gardening related, but when that is slow we have cleaning and setup for new guests in the B&B. A bit of outside building work as in getting rid of cobwebs and washing lower windows etc. if needed.

We are 10 minutes from Daylesford and Hepburn Springs by car. We are in the country so not a lot of public transport near farm. We do have a truck that might be able to be used to go to town, as long as you have a recognized licence in AU.

Very comfortable farm. I live in a roomy modern farmhouse.1 hour to melbourne[ by car or train ], separate warm bedroom, sep bathroom.
I work hard at conservation and being SUSTAINABLE.... we have our own independent water supply, and produce our own electricity ( solar panels- 4.5kw - and solar water ; but we are GRID CONNECTED to power also.)
In fact , I am quietly passionate about being sustainable ,and I try to leave a ' small footprint'.
Central heating plus some wood fires , wood cooking.
Helping may involve...
Wood collecting , log-splitting (mechanical,) painting,
pruning, cooking, GARDENING , general farm-work .Open to negotiation . Happy to help out with the English language.... but you must have good basic English . I think communication is critically important.
Please do not apply if you cannot speak intermediate/basic English.
I am very keen to get a major house clean done!

I am very interested in self-sufficiency and energy conservation- but live a comf... more inside

Short trips welcome.

WE welcome travellers with gardening skills, general housekeeping and gardening skills, and more importantly those with the attitude to try!

Carpentry skills a big plus, (for the studio project).

the accomodation is in the main house, comprised of a room with double fold out bed, and private bath room next door.

There is limited public transport however there is a bus that runs daily to the train station and back. Your own transport is ideal.

Gorgeous surrounds, and at the foothills of the Dandenong's for great walks, views of Melbourne, and relaxing time. Also the famous 1000 steps walk is very close by.

We eat healthy food and are aiming to grow as much as we can ourselves in 2019.

We're a family located in Korumburra, just over an hour and 20 minutes from Melbourne CBD. We are 20 min to Inverloch beach, 45 min to Phillip Island and 1 hour to Wilsons Prom.
We operate a home based laser engraving business.
We have 2 daughters 10 and 12 and an indoor dog Chester who is 7 years old. We have a quarter acre block of which we are trying to cultivate fruit and vegetables, the dog dug up everything so we need to get fences put up to keep him out. Ideally we are looking for 1 or 2 friends (female) to assist us with gardening in our fruit/vegie patch, and some outdoor yard work, and some light house cleaning, (Someone with graphic design background would be fantastic - we use CorelDRAW for our engraving business, or someone who could help us with some small construction projects. We don't need helpers at this time. Thanks.

We are currently keen to have some help with weeding and planting in our gardens. We would also love some help with painting. If you are looking to spend spring in the country please contact us. Pick up from Ballarat is available. When you reply please let us know what your skills are.

Are you looking for a country adventure working in the garden or tending the animals or building a fence or two? Maybe you like to cook with just picked ingredients? Please join us so we can all learn together.

We live in a straw bale home that we built ourselves and are off grid. We are hobby farmers with sheep, cattle, chooks, a large orchard and veggie gardens plus an indoor dog.

We are very relaxed and never in a hurry. We know our projects won't be finished in a day so we enjoy the journey of becoming sustainable and at one with the land.

We would some help with weeding and seasonal planting and occasionally larger projects. The animals a... more inside
