We are looking for support to prepare for fire season by cleaning and decluttering our house and yard from mid October. We would like to develop some language skills on the side too. If you have an interest in nature, native birds and animals then this place will surprise and delight you. The beaches and surf in this region are amazing too. We are situated at the end of the Great Ocean Road, 60 kms south of Port Fairy. It would help to have a car. Looking forward to meeting you.

VACANCY RIGHT NOW ON BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY

Have just returned to occasional hosting after having a break from it. As per reviews, the people that have joined us have thought they were treated fairly.

Comfortable accommodation provided in your own room in main house along with food in return for four hours work a day. Good workers will be well looked after, although as I will be busy working during your time off, I might not be available to socialise with you all the time.

Work is a little physical but I wouldn't say it is too hard.

Not interested in VISA scheme people needing payment slips as I am not set up as a business thus unable to provide pay slips and the like. Prefer help-x workers that want to see somewhere different, and get some exercise while being put up in some nice surroundings.

Working extra hours in return for payment can be possible in certain circumstances. Especially if a helper demonstrates a great work ethic and is a go getter.

I will be intermittently going over to SA to help my elderly mother so please contact me to arrange a mutually convenient period of stay. I won't be going over to SA till the end of the year.

The block of land is in a semi-rural zone adjacent to Maroondah dam catchment and Yarra Ranges National Park. Only 5km east of the township of Healesville in the Yarra Valley which is a wine and grape region.
Healesville is a tourist town surrounded by mountains. The Healesville Sanctuary is about 7km away with many Australian native animals.

Home is owner built earth wall home that has solar hot water (wood heating in winter)and grid connected PV. It is situated in a small semi-rural subdivision on a no through road.
The property has many fruit trees and large organic vegetable patch and is self sufficient in firewood.

As I am single and as I get older I need help in the home (cleaning/cooking leaves me free to do other things) and in the garden, as well as unfinished projects on/ar... more inside

Hi Travellers and Helpers

offer for 1-2 helpers in a Western suburb of Melbourne (Melton)- just 35 mins on the train to Southern Cross Train Station.

Easy access to Melbourne for sightseeing or for a swim at the St. Kilda beach (only recommended in summer though). Great place to recharge and explore Melbourne.

You have your own bedroom and you share the bathroom and two separate toilets. Kitchen and living room are connected and are great for hanging out. Outside is a sitting area planned in case you are a smoker and there is a covered area with chairs in front of the house. Of course there is a BBQ. Wireless internet access available.

I speak English and German. The house is occupied by me, maybe another border and my two dogs. The dogs speak only dog language but listen to all sort of commands like sit, down, out, eat ... She is a small 6.5 year old German Shepherd mix named Bella - he is a 4 year old German Shepherd called Lou who likes to sleep, watch TV and... more inside

We are a well travelled couple with a delightful five year old daughter and have lived abroad, spending many years in Southeast Asia. We are now resident in Mount Martha on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula and would welcome some help with gardening, fruit tree pruning, lawn mowing and housework. We have plans to build a chicken coop but that's on the to-do list - let us know if you have the skills! We are seeking four hours a day, (five days a week) in exchange for delicious food and accommodation. We can cater for some food allergies including coeliacs and lactose intolerant. We are seeking someone from 23 September

No smoking in the house but acceptable outside. We enjoy cooking and food and we look forward to cross cultural exchanges. We can speak some Vietnamese (reasonable), Indonesian (basic), Cambodian (basic) and school French...(basic) and would love the exposure to new languages and cultures for our daughter.
