We run a wildlife rescue and also look after the farm we have 120 soay sheep, 2 highland bulls, 2 llamas, 2 Kune Kune and 2 potbellied pigs, 3 dogs 10 cats, 3 peafowl, 2 turkeys, 7 geese, various ducks and chickens and rescue wildlife such as owls, kestrels, hedgehogs, baby birds, seagulls etc etc We need help on a daily base with cleaning cages, feeding live stock, cleaning the yard, mucking out stables, checking animals for injuries, general well being, household work like washing up etc.
During the winter period it gets pretty wet, windy, cold and snowy up here so generally, we would prefer a single male worker or a couple ( male & female) to come up here to stay with us and do the physically demanding work.
We would prefer a minimum age of 25 and we cannot cater for special dietary needs e.g. vegetarian or vegan, as we eat a mixed diet and do not have the time/will to change any of this.
At times, it may be needed to drive tractors, diggers, ATVs and sometimes a chain...

We are Laura, Gary, William and James, with small very friendly dog Monty. Our house is a newly built with the Passive House aspiration. It sits in the south wall of a Victorian Walled Garden.
The Garden is made of three sections: orchard, flower garden and veg garden, with surrounding woodland lanes. All very beautiful and full of potential. We need help with managing all aspects of the garden and starting to create different areas of interest within the structure of it. We need to move away from a building site to a home where people can visit and enjoy the garden.
We work hard and try to find a balance in life, so need a little help to move the garden along.
Independent living accommodation suitable for a two or an individual.
30 minutes drive to the Lake District and 20 minutes to Yorkshire Dales. 3 hours train link to London. Lovely walking and mountain biking. Work expectations matched with free adventure time. Food mainly vegetarian and home grown where possible.

Our 17th century farmhouse is home to Piers, Sue, three young people aged 18-22 (two are away at university), two house cats and a small, very friendly dog. Our stay length is two, occasionally three, weeks. We are now looking for help in October and November.
We offer helpxers comfortable accommodation in a prime tourist area, excellent food and a genuine welcome, in return for a fair level of physical work. It's a great opportunity for people who are keen to stay in a family environment and learn stuff about country living. We usually take helpxers one at a time; sometimes we have two people here.
Our home is within sight of the sea in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are shingle beaches to walk to and steep-sided sandy coves easily reachable by bike (although the roads are hilly!). South Devon is an enormously popular tourist destination from Easter to October, when it earns its reputation as the sunniest part of England.
We moved here seven years ago and h...

Hello, I am a busy working mum with two children aged 9 and 6 looking for someone to help around the house. General house keeping and cleaning along with a little babysitting for a 3 hours per day day, 6 days per week.
We are situated in the beautiful seaside town of Torquay and can offer a bed in a shared dormitory in my husbands backpackers, which is a 2 minute walk from our house. There may be the possibility of staying at our house in the future but we currently have a lodger there.

We have just moved into a lovely old farmhouse in the beautiful village of Kingsbury Episcopi in the heart of the Somerset Levels and the home of cider making! We have 3 young daughters who are 5, 3 and 1 and we will be getting a kitten and chickens very soon! We have gardens, barns and an orchard and we would love some enthusiastic, positive and willing people/person to come and help run our lively, busy household and garden! My husband works full time and I am at home looking after the children. We always have visitors and friends visiting and can introduce you to local people. The village has a great traditional pub and a shop. There is excellent cycling and walking around us in the gorgeous countryside. We are very happy to drive to the closet train station should you wish to visit Bath, Bristol, Exeter or London and there's are also buses. We have a double room with shower en suite, Wifi and TV. We hope you'd like to come and stay with us.

We are looking for friendly and outgoing helpers to exchange your help for food and accommodation. We want you to feel like part of the family, be polite, make cheerful conversation and have fun.
Maralyn has multiple sclerosis and sadly is now in a wheelchair unable to eat or move by herself. Sam is her carer who lives with us as part of the family and she is supported by other carers who visit twice a day. Our son Adam lives in Cambridge and runs the family Patent Attorney business. He usually comes to our house twice a week to work in a small office in our garden.
We would be grateful for help with cooking, decorating, roofing, gardening, housework, horse care, DIY, hedge cutting, brick laying, wood chopping etc.. We have a green house and a vegetable patch and one retired horse. 6 acres of our land are used for our horses and we have 4 acres of land which we would like to develop for an interesting use eg food forest, woodland, etc.. Any suggestions are welcome. ...

**PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF AND EXPERIENCE WITH HORSES** I only ask this because we have taken people on to train them in the past and found it takes weeks for them to adjust and then it is time to leave - it is boring here for someone who does not know how to work with a horse. It can also be dangerous for someone who doesn't know what they are doing.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR AUTUMN SEASON HELPERS...
Working family farm in rural North Yorkshire bordering the moor and large areas of forest, where we have horses and other farmyard animals. Help is required to work with the horses e.g mucking out, walker, grooming etc (only WITH experience) - but also to maintain the farm. We are self sufficient with a vegetable patch too so if you have green thumbs then that's a bonus. We are situated near Helmsley, a small town with shops and pubs (and a bus system).
What we're looking for: hard working, outgoing people, who would be comfortable being left responsible for the ...
