We are a family of three and live by the river on approx 400 acres. We are located alongside the Clutha River with access to swimming, hiking and world class fishing on our doorstep.
Wanaka is 20 mins away, Cromwell 15mins and Queenstown is 1 hour away. There is lots to see and do here. We are a fun, friendly family and are often jetboating, skiing, camping and motorbiking.
You will need a vehicle to stay here if you want to be able to look around as we are 20km from the nearest town. We graze cattle on our farm during the winter and also have 3 horses, a dog, a cat, chickens, lambs, and a calf.
Accommodation is your own space in a freshly renovated caravan, but toilet/shower amenities will be shared in the main house, as will most meals. We have plenty of work both inside and outside we would love some help with. Jobs range from cleaning, painting, gardening, and general maintenance, farm chores, feeding animals, landscaping and helping us develop our property. There is also r... more inside

We live on a high country sheep & beef farm in Central Otago in a little rural area called Tarras. Our family all farm here and we have two additional workers who help us out on the farm. We have pet dogs, cat, and hens
as well as the farm animals.

Tarras is located a short drive from local towns Cromwell (20 mins) or Wanaka (30 mins) and Queenstown (1hr). It is a great spot to stop over if you are travelling between Christchurch/Mount Cook and Queenstown/Wanaka/ Fiordland.

We are looking for people who are interested in helping us out with our garden at our farm homestead. Work will vary depending on what needs done at the time and your skills. Examples are gardening, building, painting, maintenance jobs, cooking or cleaning.

You can explore the farm in your free time where you can bike, hike or swim in the river. Hours can be flexible to allow you to explore the surrounding areas as there is lots to see and do if you have a car. To get the most out of your stay we... more inside

We are looking for travellers who can help for a week or two from about the 10th of April 2019. Jobs would involve mostly gardening, weeding, some cleaning, washing windows, firewood stacking, maybe cooking the odd meal, etc. We offer warm, friendly rural accommodation in Queenstown (5 mins to Frankton) with a kiwi family in exchange for some short term help. You will need your own vehicle as we are not on a bus route. We have one kid, one cat, nine chickens, and Daisy the dog. No smokers please. Please don't apply if you are just looking to go woofing because you are broke and Queenstown is expensive :) We prefer serial woofers who are hard working and have initiative.
