Hi everyone, We have 40 acres located 4 hours south of Sydney right on the beach. We have created a gazetted wildlife sanctuary on the land. This is one of the most beautiful stretches of coastland in NSW - lots of national parks and pristine isolated beaches. We have a guest house on the property and we are looking for helpers interested in staying for a few months to paint the exterior of the cottage and design/create a garden round the cottage. The area is currently quite stony and not much grows so I am thinking a rock garden would work well. The cottage is really well set up and fully equipped and it is usually offered as a holiday rental. I would cover all materials and equipment (for the garden and painting) and gas and electricity bills at the house. The cottage would be for exclusive use of whoever takes this role. I am also happy to give a grocery allowance to the helper for provision of food. I am keen to get started in the next month or so - and look forward to hearin... more inside

We are a Wildlife Sanctuary dedicated to the rescue, release and rehabilitation of Australian Wildlife. We raise orphaned and injured wildlife, specifically kangaroos, wallabies, wallaroos & possums, and release them back to the wild. We are a dynamic family who aspires to the dream of self sufficiency and offers a unique experience to share close contact with wildlife. We embrace the opportunity to share our farm and enjoy a cultural exchange with our overseas guests.

Your accommodation is a very comfortable, private self contained cottage with a beautiful combustion fireplace. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen and internal shower and bathroom. You have access to a washing machine and also internet (with limited upload/download).

Due to a no-show, a helper needed during end July.

I am an aquatic ecologist who has fortunately been working out of our coastal rain-forest property for 26 years. Driven by strong a curiosity, I have recently been developing long-term data sets on the animal life in the forest that surrounds our home, plus on tropical marine fish that are steadily increasing in numbers under the influence of climate change at the nearby very beautiful Seal Rocks area (for details click on `Web2` above).

We have 20 acres with 2 acres cleared and the remainder moist tall forest and rainforest (see a massive tree on our property which is listed on Australia`s Big Trees website: click on `Web3` above). It is on the coast 3 hrs drive north of Sydney (1.5 km from Smiths Lake; 30 km south of Forster). Click on `Photos` above to glimpse the accommodation, typical work and fun. We have a 180 squ m vegetable garden at times needing attention which has been enclosed to keep out our friends the wall... more inside

We are a small scale free range egg business located 5mins from Hay in the NSW Riverina. We are a family farm, with two young boys, and need an extra couple of pairs of hands around to help share the load. Outdoors we need someone to help with egg collection, grading and feeding up. Indoors we need someone to help keep the house clean and prepare a morning tea and an evening meal (breakfast and lunch are get- your- own affairs for all members of the household!)

We offer board and lodging in return for four hours work per day. Hello,

We are a young, fun family - Matt, a sports chiropractor, myself, Nicole, a journalist from New Caledonia, our three year old Charlie, and one dog, Lola. We live on beautiful Scotland Island, about an hour north of Sydney CBD.
We love good company, good food and good music and enjoy going for bush walks in the national parks surrounding the island, and for trips on our boat to the beautiful beaches nearby.
Scotland Island is water access only - there is a two minute ferry and we have a commuter boat to get across. We also have surf skies to go exploring the area, the beach is a 5 minute walk from the house and the surf beaches of Sydney`s famous northern beaches are a short bus trip away.
You would have your own room in the house and we would be happy to show you around the area and enjoy relaxing barbecues etc.
We are looking for help over July to help with packing up our house as we are moving off island for a year.
We look forward to meeting you! ... more inside
