After many years travelling and teaching people about horses, and dealing with difficult horses,, I have decided to create a base. I have a property on the Condamine river, just east of killarney. There is really great house and cottage already, off the grid. The river is now running again, there are Platypus, and many birds, wallabys, kangaroo's, lizzards and so much more. I intend to develope it into an organic farm. There are many easy jobs to attend to, as well as build new infrastructure. If you are interested in being away from the rat race, and living in a natural enviroment for awhile, please contact me. This is a beautiful location with abundant trees and many other of natures gifts. Come join us for awhile. Wayne

Spring cleaning, handy person projects, plenty of work at our shabby chic but comfortable rambling home in its permaculture garden on the beautiful red soils of Lamb Island. The island is very quiet and a small community. We expect our helpers to work in the mornings, help cook the evening meal and fit in with our neighbours' early nights. Otherwise there is plenty of island to explore, and free travel between our group of four.

Looking for one or two people for minimum 2 nights but maximum 3 nights. Longer stays possible if we all get on, including Cam the rescue greyhound. We are experienced home stay carers, Airbnb hosts etc and can offer individual lessons in English, boat operation and driving for a price. Islands offer mostly natural beauties, curlews and mangroves. We have bikes you are welcome to use.

Plans for this year mostly planting out new areas, re-vegetating.

I live in a large beach house that's a bit too much for me to maintain. I also need to do a lot of work in the garden and I find it very hard to find the time because I have a couple of boat projects on the go. People with practical skills, who can help with the boat work would be great.
I'm looking for one or two couples and I would be asking for 20 hours work a week from each person, in exchange for accommodation and food provided with shared cooking (I'm not much of a cook), so enthusiastic cooks especially welcome. I have boats on the beach, which is directly out the front with bushwalking and the Barron River across the road. 15-20 minutes drive (or there's a bus) to the center of Cairns. Amazing bushwalks, waterfalls 10 minutes drive away, which I like to do some early mornings (too hot later).
I would say to plan on a two week stay, maybe longer if it suits everyone, there's no shortage of work to be done.

I prefer a non vegetarian diet, and I would prefer non smokers, ... more inside
