Hi folks,
Hi folks, I'm giving a call out for some help with my garden harvest, planting and preserving tasks over the next while. Summer is doing its thing and the plants are looking healthy and bountiful so I'm hoping for a good yield. I'm also extending the chicken yards and compost heaps so I need a bit of help. The shed which was my home once is being rebuilt as my studio accommodation so anyone with building skills or interest in assisting are welcome

I've built a passive solar, rammed earth and recycled timber house with a composting toilet. I have solar power, a vegetable garden, chickens and a dog. I try to live as organic a lifestyle as possible. If you are living here you need to understand the need and develop practices to conserve power and water as they are finite and can run out if wasted.

I would love some people to come and help with projects inside and outside the house. You would have your own space in a caravan or spare room, afternoons to relax by ... more inside

Just an average house with a large garden. Needing help with the general cleaning and maintenance of the garden as I work full time. Nothing hard or back breaking just a couple of hours work each day. Train station and bus stop a close walk, Your welcome to go off and explore in the day or even have a part time job and put in your hours in the evening. Private room with double bed. It`s just me some chickens and the cat. Would just be nice to have some sociable visitors and talk about their adventures and share meals together. I don`t need rent money so It`s better than having a creepy lodger. Lol. Persons need to have adequate grasp of English language. Please email any requests or questions before calling as I work in a department that doesn`t allow me to take calls. Can stay a night or more. I don`t drink or smoke.

We are a family of 5 looking to host one or two people. We have 3 children (age 5, 7, 10) and a dog, so it's a good idea if you like/tolerate kids and dogs.

We live about 4km from the town of Denmark on a farm of 125 acres. Although close to town, the ride/walk is not for the faint hearted. Your own transport would be helpful, but not essential.

The range of work available is diverse and depends on the skills you have to offer. There are things to do around our house, in the garden or on the farm.

We offer accommodation in our caravan with a shared bathroom in the house. We provide you with food to prepare your own breakfast and lunch. Evening meals are enjoyed together.

We ask for 4 hours work per day in exchange for meals and accommodation. Happy for you to work extra hours one day and take a day off. Non smokers please.

We live in a beautiful old weatherboard house 25 minutes from the city and close to a cafe strip where there are interesting cafés, bookshops and restaurants. A bus goes to the city from the end of the street or it is a 20 min walk to the train.

The work is 4 hours per day for each person. The work is not difficult. Gardening, cleaning, oiling the veranda and deck, walking Willow the dog, and some small handyman jobs if you are good at that sort of thing.

There is one spare room with a double bunk bed, with new pillows, sheets, blankets and towels.

If you have a van that you are happy to sleep in we have room for you to park it in a nice quiet spot at the back of the house that also has a power supply.

Please tell us -

* if you have any gardening, handy or trade skills
* if you are ok to work independently when we are not around
* if you will do 4 hours of work with a smile
* if you love cooking

* if you don't mind getting your hands dirty
* if you ar... more inside
