Hi! I'm Jen - I live in a lovely old fisherman's cottage in Collioure, at the foot of the Pyrenees. I'd appreciate a fun, friendly, reliable, competent person to help with household maintenance, DIY, some administrative work, maybe some food preparation - a mix of taking over some and helping with others of these activities. This way you and I can each have time to enjoy this beautiful region!

I also have a small ongoing renovation project on another property in the area, and some of your time will be spent there. At some point it would be helpful to have assistance from someone with electrical knowledge and someone with knowledge of IT/computing/promotion over the internet.

I can offer good, healthy food and good company, a comfortable room in my home, beautiful scenery and great opportunities for a choice of outdoor activities. In return I would like approximately 25-30 hours of your help per week. English and French spoken. Non-smokers please.

Come to help me and discover the fabrication of cider, pommeau and calvados in a beautiful place!!!
La Meurdraquiere is a little place with 365 people just next to the MONT SAINT MICHEL in Basse Normandie. We are at one hour of Caen and Rennes.
The work is variable, depending of the seasons because we work with the natur.
If you want to know more call me or write me.

See you later for beautiful and joyful meetings.

We run a small gite property and have quite a lot of land. Would love some help with Saturday bed changing & weeding the vegetable plot. Our eldest son has Asperger's (form of autism) so need someone happy to discuss movies all day, every day! We're about an hour from the Atlantic surfing beaches & 90 minutes drive from the Pyrenees mountains, Bordeaux city, Pau & Biarritz. We're in the heart of the countryside so transport is necessary.

We are a English couple living in France, we have just sold a large property and are now looking to start creating our dream home.

We can take upto 4 people, we prefer people with some building experience, plastering, plumber, joinery, stone work etc.
Minimum stay is 2 weeks

We are also looking for a couple, maybe an active retired couple who love France and are interested in something longer term, to help with general caretaker type things .
some of the things you would be doing would be:
Cooking, cleaning, gardening, feeding the animals, general maintenance and caretaker type duties, general odd jobs so a good DIYer would be ideal.

we provide accommodation and all meals

What we would like in return is 30hrs per week,

If you are interested then please email us with details of the types of work you can do and the dates you would like to come.

We have been living and working here for the last 17 years. The property is set in 23 acres (9.25 hectares) and is made up of a hunting lodge, farmhouse and a rundown Porcherie. Jennifer is a catering manager in hospitality for a motor sport team, Malcolm is a working musician. Malcolm also works as a professional antique stove restorer, so there are always interesting architectural antiques about the place. We are both in our 50s. Jennie has a wide repertoire in the kitchen and is quite happy to teach those that are willing. She can teach the following cuisines: Indian; French; Cordon Bleu and good old fashioned English country cooking. Jennie is also an excellent vegetarian cook.

We have three adorable donkeys, three miniature black sheep, a flock of interesting breed chickens, a pond full of Indian runner ducks and a Toulouse goose. We also have four cats one of which is a pedigree Maine Coon. We have a productive veggie plot which helps to feed us throughout the year. We look... more inside

You would help build walls lay gravel etc max hours per week would be 30 with no weekend work. The house is in the Cancilla area of the town of Quillan AUDE and you would stay with us in your own room with all meals provided, internet access would be available for a limited time, we will be using it to. We are an English couple who moved to France 4 years ago because we wanted a different lifestyle to bring up our young children. Our house is still being renovated and therefore is not the smartest place, with building materials all over the place and half started projects surrounding us. We have just less than 2 hectares which comprises the house, orchard area, vegetable garden, fields and lake. Much of this is overgrown and we are gradually clearly, replanting and developing. Please note, we live in a small village, with no amenities close by.

Although we were both experienced with renovating houses in the UK we didnít anticipate how much having children would impact on our ability to get things done and have therefore not moved forward as fast as we expected.

We are smokers, although not in the house and we eat mostly meat orientated meals although are happy to try vegetarian meals occasionally.

The main jobs we need help with this summer are the routine ga... more inside
