Currently looking for couples only with their own transport as we are 10 minutes out of town with no bus route.

We are a young (29/31) Kiwi and South African couple who have recently bought our first home here in NZ after traveling the world working on super yachts for the last 5 years. We jumped in the deep end and secured ourselves a farm/avocado orchard in the beautiful Bay of Plenty. We are loving the lifestyle it brings but would benefit greatly from a few extra hands and others to share it with, aside from our kittens and sheep.

The property runs onto the Wairoa river which makes for the perfect spot to relax on the rocks and beautiful swimming conditions in the summer.

We are very social and like to reward ourselves after a days work with good food and a drink. Louis, being South African is very handy on the Braai (BBQ) We eat simple, healthy food with lots of flavour. Totally open to you taking over the kitchen :-P

Jobs will vary, inside and out…Avocado tree ... more inside

Hi, my place is a 60's time capsule that I need some help tidying up.
Situated at the northern entrance to Rotorua, opposite the Gondola and MTB gravity park, main site for Crank Workz. The lake is 15 Mins walk away when following the stream that runs through the bottom of the section. The centre of town is a 20 mins cycle or approx 45mins walk. Buses stop just around the corner.
You will be staying with myself, dog Jack, and flat mate Jeep. We're straight white males who are happy to have anyone stay with us as long as they're nice and have a sense of humour about things. We eat mostly vegetarian, except Jack. He's an enthusiastic carnivore. I ride bikes, so can show you around some of the trails etc. We know the better bars and restaurants. Regular bush walks and lake explorations with Jack and friends. You will have a small sunny room with large single bed.
I currently require someone to clean up the gardens and plant new plants through out. This includes the much used ve... more inside

We have a lovely lifestyle property in the beautiful Bay of Plenty just 15 mins from central Tauranga. We have transformed a field into a native garden full of birds and keep our 11 Avocados organic. We have solar power and like to eat wholesome organic food.

We enjoy meeting people of all cultures having worked in various different countries ourselves. Our son is away at university so aside from the birds it’s pretty quiet here. We’d like some help with clearing up and mulching our garden pruning and general work - including the avocado trees about 5 hours a day - In return we’ll provide comfortable accommodation, meals, wifi and laundry facilities.

Couples or two friends preferred (sharing room). Sawing ability useful. No Smoking. Please contact us by email initially with description of yourselves (age, experience etc) and we will respond quickly.

We have an organic orchard growing Macadamia nuts, Walnuts, and avocados as the main crops. We are now harvesting walnuts and it would be great to have some helpers over the next 3 weeks. We also have other seasonal crops grown in smaller quantities such as garlic. We harvest and process our produce to sell at Rotorua and Taupo markets ourselves. We are situated on a lovely elevated site 20 minutes drive from the beach and only 40 minutes drive from both Rotorua and Tauranga.
There are a variety of outdoor and indoor tasks, including sorting and processing macadamia nuts and walnuts, weeding, vegetable gardening, planting, general maintenance jobs as skills allow.

We have a self contained studio attached to the barn , suitable for a couple to stay.

As we live 20 minutes from the nearest town, helpers will need their own transport. Please contact us to book in advance

We have a Shipping Container Conversion site in Katikati (where paid seasonal work in the horticulture - kiwifruit, avocados etc is available). It is in the middle of town so everything you need is only a short walk - including supermarket, cafes, bakery, banks, shops, information centres.

Katikati is the 'Mural Town' in the beautiful Bay of Plenty 25mins north Tauranga. There are great bush walks, river swimming holes and only a short drive to beaches.

We are in to alternative housing - particularly shipping containers, but also tiny homes, both on and off grid, so we would like someone who either has their own house on wheels, or would be happy staying in a container, who has innovative and creative building/cabinetry skills, who would like to do general labouring - container fit outs primarily, but also to develop a living roof, a garden and compost systems on site. Ideally you will have a valid driving licence.

We are open to flexible helpx hours so you can do paid work... more inside

We are a large dairy farm, milking 1000 cows.
Our farm backs on to stunning native bush and we have a beautiful waterfall on the property. We are located 25 mins from the tourist mecca of Rotorua city, which has many wonderful attractions, like geothermal lakes, gondola, luge, hiking tracks, and the famous redwoods forest. We are also an hour from the beach and only 3 hours from the Snow. There will be so much to do in your spare time.
We are looking for some enthusiastic helpers to help us milk cows on the farm.

The accomodation is a 4 bedroom shared with 1 of our permanent staff members. At times we will have a couple of helpers staying there also. So its like a fun flat!

Large lifestyle block with several families.

We live half way between Tauranga and Katikati, in the foothills of the Kaimai ranges with the lovely Wainui river flowing through our property. Transport available most days to and from Tauranga.

We keep chickens, horses, Alpacas, dogs, cats and kids (all pets).

My father currently requires help completing an outdoor bathroom and an indoor kitchenette; some aptitude with construction tools preferable but not necessary.

As we work full time you will have full access to our home and fridge for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is usually around 6:30, however, if you like cooking you are welcome to assist.

We expect 4 hours work (Monday to Friday) in return for free accommodation, food and wifi access (you will need your own devices). No meals provided on the weekends but accommodation still available.
