We are big, friendly family lucky enough to live on a beautiful 170 acre property in the Far North, about 30 minutes from Kerikeri. We have 4 awesome kids that live here with us on the farm.
We have a few farm animals - Highland cattle, Arapawa sheep, dogs, horses, chickens, ducks, and there is also 100 acres in covenanted native bush with streams, tracks, a small Kauri stand, Kiwi, glowworms and heaps more!
We have been here 2 years and have put in a large organic vege patch, extended the orchards, landscaped the yard and converted the old goat shed into a second house, cut tracks in the bush. We do our best to be organic and sustainable in all areas, though we treat this as a commitment rather than a rule - ie we will drench a sheep if it is clearly unwell (hardly ever!)
In addition to these projects we have a heap of firewood to move, cut and store, as well as general maintenance and improvement around the house, farm and bush. With so much to do and little ones underfoot we... more inside

I require some help with occasional minding of three children aged 10, 8 and 4, as well as some help around the house with the housework.
A bedroom is available with shared facilities. Meals are provided, and food preparation is shared. Our farm is 40 hectares of pasture and forest, with cows, sheep, pigs and chickens. Situated in the lovely Hokianga Harbor, 15 minutes between Rawne town, and Opononi beach.
Having your own transport is not required, though it will make life easier for you. I am often out and about and can provide some transportation. Starting and finishing times will be up to you and the work will normally be less than 3 hours per day, with the exception if I require child minding one or two evenings per week, on week days.
Weekends will be free.
There is plenty to do on the farm, if you are looking for new experiences or excited about learning. Any tasks related to this will be optional, free to do or not, and the reward will be the enjoyment of a new exp... more inside

We, Helmut and Angelika, are living on a scenic and secluded 2 ha property close to the road from Paihia to Kerikeri, just outside of Kerikeri. We work on our land with eco-biological agriculture principles. On the north facing slope there is a terraced vegetable and seed garden, a small orchard of deciduous fruit trees, grape vines and herbs. The South is covered by Bush. Accommodation is in a newly-built, self-contained cottage. We are looking for general help with maintenance of our property, gardens and orchard. We are also part of a community garden project and community seed bank, and wwoofing activities will include helping with these projects as well.
We are looking for a mature individual with good physical strength to help us with gardening and other activities on our property, and we welcome applications from people aged 24 and over.

Nestled in the peaceful and tranquil Northland bush above Kawakawa, I am slowly converting a bit of bush into a couple of paddocks, but have no fear I am keeping a fair bit of bush and planting new areas with more natives to attract more bird life.
I breed rather large pigs with a lot of love and compassion. I also breed rabbits while raising ducks, hens and a few calves, sheep and lambs. I try to keep things as natural as possible while being practical.
At the moment I have calves that are being hand raised.
I have plenty of room for someone to park their van or motor home or tent and failing that I have available a caravan with a double bed and a single bed.
We are secluded so have a limited alternative power supply and tank water and no wifi.
I'm looking for someone who would be willing to help out with general farm work, including fencing, feeding animals, cutting firewood, weed control, plumbing, a bit of building etc and anything else that comes along. I recommend that y... more inside
