The weather is getting better now, and we are looking forward to sun-shiny days. We are looking for people who enjoy being outdoors and want to learn how to build an earth house with simple materials. We're building a house near Daylesford, Victoria. We are 10 minutes drive from Daylesford (natural spa and tourism region of Victoria). It is a friendly little village and we are building on 1 acre, next door to an lovely organic farm and 3 minutes walk from a general store that makes superb lunches/coffee. Rural, but not remote. We live in a neighbouring rental house with a spare room (double bed), plus lots of yard space for a campervan if that is your mode of travel. Right now we would love some help with gardening and cooking. And if you are willing to help with carpentry - mainly helping nail/screw framing timber, battens and that sort of thing, that would be excellent... We are a relaxed couple with a cat. Do get in touch!

Volunteer project Gippsland Victoria, Permaculture farm Eco Village

I want to create a community where people can live, grow their own food, do their own thing while looking after the environment and the community, be artistic and inventive, learn from each other and teach yet others again.
My permaculture farm, nature reserve and timber plantation is located 200km east of Melbourne in Gippsland,
The landscape is kind of like ‘lord of the rings’ story environment. It’s called a cold temperate rainforest. It is totally remote, stretching over several mountains and valleys with clean drinking water, native forest with massive centuries old trees (no pesticides ever been used to my knowledge). Cliffs, bridges, creeks, waterfalls, some old growth forest, fern trees, abundant wildlife etc. I guess you get the picture. We have a lot of rainfall so stuff never stops growing. But it gets cold in winter (regular frost overnight).
I want to find like minded people (there are three of u... more inside

At our home in Tallarook:
Here we are blessed and live very well in abundance. Mainly we grow vegetables and practice meditation and yoga. Other projects include beekeeping, running market stalls at key times of the year, establishing preparations for chickens, establishing infrastructure for the yoga festival here in November.
Production Gardens:
I have a 1/4 acre (pictured) which I crop veggies. crops for this season are beets, garlic, carrots, onion, beans, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower and more!
The Gardens at home and the farm are always in movement and action. They feed us well and give surplus in summer for events, markets and pickling.
The Home property:
At home the property has an orchard of 90 trees that in winter we can prune (I love pruning trees) and in summer can eat the fruits and pickle them also!
The broader property focuses on grape production for wine making. There is also paid work here during harvest time, and often help needed at other times with train... more inside

Our preference is for workers with driver's licence and/or car. Couples are ideal as our accommodation is self-contained and private.

This is a picturesque sheep farm situated half-way between Benalla and Wangaratta, in Victoria's North East. We are 10 minutes from Glenrowan township, 20 minutes from the vineyards of the King Valley and about 1 hour 20 minutes from the ski slopes. We are a family of six (four kids under twelve), seeking someone with farmhand, house cleaning, gardening, carpentry, building or painting skills. We love to have couples stay with us.

We have a very comfortable, 3-bedroom, fully-furnished
cottage for our worker/s. My husband and I have both lived and worked overseas and travelled extensively. We would make our working visitors welcome, show them the area and do our best to make their time with us fun and interesting.

We're a busy, active family living on Victoria's famous Surf Coast - the gateway to the Great Ocean Road, 10 minutes from Bells Beach and 20 minutes from Torquay. Our house is modest and comfortable in quiet bushy area of Anglesea. Its just 10 minutes walk to Anglesea's stunning beaches. Half hour walk along a stunning beach or beach track into town and cafes.
We'd love some help all year round with walking our happy dog, some gardening jobs, preserving over summer and basic household bits and pieces. A few hours per day would be so welcome. We are lucky to have a constant supply of organic homegrown fruit veggies and tend to eat healthy, home cooked, simple meals. You are welcome to enjoy the abundance and we have years of preserving and bottling experience we'd love to pass on.
When you're done, you can grab one of the bikes and ride the MTB tracks, go for a stunning bush/beach walk or grab one of the boards and try your hand at surfing or just chill on the beach with a boo... more inside

Hi, we are looking for fun loving, honest people to help us through our busy summer season. Our park is set on 200 acres of beautiful wilderness just near gorgeous beaches in lovely East Gippsland. Here you can fish, swim, surf, canoe and whatever else you like to do outdoors. The park has pools, tennis court and amenities. We need help around the park with cleaning, gardening, pool and grounds maintenance over the our peak season December/Jan. We need up to 4 hours a day. We provide accommodation and meals. We do not have internet but there is phone reception and we are happy to take you into town where they have internet at the local cafe. Let us know if you think this is something that would suit you. Cheers! From Jungle Beach.
