I am not on a farm, it is a residential block in Ipswich.

Ipswich is a lovely place in itself and is about an hours drive to Brisbane, about an hour to the Gold Coast, about an hour and a half to the Sunshine Coast or about an hour to the mountains in Toowoomba. Many visitors to Australia assume it will be hot here and in summer it is, in winter the temperature can be very cold. Make sure to pack some warm winter clothing if travelling in the winter months.

I do Airbnb from 2 of my 3 houses and may need to change which room or house you are in if it gets booked. Rooms shown are the possibilities.

I prefer non-smokers although there is an outdoor area at each house you can smoke in.

I have lots of things that need doing so I will list them all here and when you contact me, let me know which you have the skills to do.

Two hours work each day per person. You can do extra hours one day to take a day off the following day if you like. You can hang out with me later if y... more inside

We need help keeping our 2.5 acres property under control. We have a fruit orchard and vegetable garden as well as flower gardens that constantly need weeding and pruning. We also have chickens for fresh eggs. You would have your own room and bathroom. We do not have reliable public transport so your own car would be advisable. If necessary we can drop you at local shopping centre to get bus.
We require 5 hrs per day for 5 days then 2 days off. All food will be provided but you will prepare your own breakfast and lunch.we are helpful and look forward to having you stay with us

Unavailable at the moment.

Update - we’re also looking for help at Mt Nebo, just 20 minutes up the road from The Gap. We would love some help in the yard... cutting branches, raking, etc. Own transport would be great so you can come and go as you like. The Chalet (cabin) can sleep three. The internet is ok, not always reliable.
Can send you photos if interested.

A family home located in The Gap, Brisbane, 11kms from the city. Conveniently located across from Brisbane Forest Park where you can enjoy bush walking and water sports. The express bus is only a three minute walk away. We have parking available too.
We would love help with our gardening, housework, cooking (vegetarians welcome), car washing and some house maintenance. Our house has an open fire place to enjoy during the winter months and a swimming pool for summer. We have wifi too!
There are two beautiful cats living here and we also often mind one large beautiful dog.
You would have your own bedroom with a ... more inside

I have a lovely split level home perched on a mountain in the Gold Coast hinterland. Mudgeeraba is a beautiful bush  suburb of the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It is surrounded by bush and has an abundance of wildlife and a vast range of birds and animals including rock wallabies and Koalas. Often you will see wallabies grazing in the back yard, and if you are patient, also koala’s in the trees. You definitely will hear the latter even if you do not see them!
This is a wonderful opportunity to stay in a very picturesque part of the Gold Coast. This 8 acre property is set in bushland at an altitude of 1300 ft with 270 deg uninterrupted view of the Gold Coast surrounds and beaches. The property is only 7 minutes drive to Mudgeeraba township, 12 minutes to Robina and a further 20 mins to beaches and Surfers Paradise. One of the major Shopping Centres is only 10 mins away (Robina Town Centre) . Also one of the largest shopping centres in Queensland is only 25 mins away. If you pr... more inside

URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR BUSH FIRE RECOVERY. Please note this is a Volunteer role and apart from Food and Accomodation we are unable to offer payment.

In December we had a bush fire engulf our area and our property has been badly effected.

The work we need help with is general tasks relating to tiding the property such as clearing fallen trees, fencing repairs and emptying burnt sheds. Some of this requires heavy lifting and use of equipment and experience would be useful.

We are a couple in our mid fifties and we are struggling with getting things done and really need extra help even it is for 5 days only!

In exchange for food and accommodation we ask for 4-5 hours work each day. The accommodation is in a caravan about 100mts from the house so you have your own privacy. We share our meals and eat together in the house. We start about 7am after breakfast as this is the coolest time of day.

Hi
Our property is a small farm between Gympie and Rainbow Beach. We grow food for our own use or to share with friends and family – we are not a commercial farm. There is a mixture of gardens, pastures and bushland and we are situated on Tinana Creek. Our aim is to restore habitat for wildlife including rare species of frogs, birds, fish, mammals, reptiles and plants that occur here.

You can go for walks on the property or in the nearby National Park and there are bikes for rides through the countryside. We can take you to some of the beautiful places in our local area too. Marc is an avid kitesurfer and is happy to take workers on beach expeditions.

We need help with a variety of jobs including painting, tree planting and environmental weed control, household duties, cooking and building,. Also there are organic vege gardens / orchard, cows, sheep, chickens and a dog to manage. We try to vary the jobs and are happy to teach workers about local wildlife, native plants, bus... more inside
