Iím a busy single mum to an 8 year old, looking for some help around the house, with grocery shopping and occasional evening childcare.
We live just metres from the seafront in Mumbles, close to many local amenities including several grocery stores and multiple pubs and restaurants.
The Gower is an amazing place to explore with many opportunities for outdoor and water sports. Swansea City Centre is around 20 minutes by bus- the bus stop being directly outside the house.
Youíll have your own room, with WiFi available.
Youíll also have access to a bicycle and possibly even the car.
I teach English as a second language and this homestay would be ideal for anyone looking to improve their English language skills.
Terms are flexible, although I need a commitment of at least 15 hours per week for 6 weeks or more, for it to be tenable.

I am a single parent with 2 grown adults and a girl of secondary school age.
i run a small party decorating business and have a small general home and hardware store,

I am now in the process of equipping the shop

the wedding business is very interesting and demanding during the peak season of the year, because various wedding or party decorations jobs needs to be ready before taking them to venues.

This is very interesting but sometimes can be demanding due to other duties that needs to be done in the shop.

There are skills that can be learnt here which will be useful for knowing how to decorate for special occasions. how to design balloons and also how to arrange silk flowers and gain experience in customer service skills
you will also improve on English skills if this is needed

The person i am looking for must be a FEMALE that is very neat and clean

I am looking for someone who is willing to commit to at least a minimum of 2 weeks or more and also keep to th... more inside

We will be hosting Helpx again in 2020 from Spring to Autumn and we offer a double room with en-suite bathroom, plus meals, for 20 hours manual work per person per week, based on working 9.00 to 13.00 five days, so this will best suit robust individuals! We have about an acre of ground at home, plus we have another acre and a half 10 mins walk away. We especially enjoy gardening, both flowers and vegetables. We welcome help with garden work, such as outdoor painting, weeding, and mending. The work involves active jobs, such as cutting brambles and wood, moving manure, digging etc, so you need a reasonable level of mobility/fitness, and it is helpful (but not at all essential) if you are willing to use power tools, such as strimmer and mower! If you would like to join us for a while you will need working clothes and suitable outdoor working footwear, as we still work outside if the rain is not too heavy! However, if the weather is too bad to work outdoors, ordinary domestic jobs s... more inside

Myself and my partner Ali live on the Black Isle 5 miles from Inverness. We run a caravan site and some self catered accommodation as well as working on the family farm. We have a three year old daughter, Anoushka and we are expecting another baby in February. We really enjoy hosting volunteers and sharing our lives with people and really appreciate the extra help. We are close to Inverness so an ideal place for exploring and we are happy to help in anyway we can.

I hope people will enjoy being thrown in to a busy family and being part of it. You will meet other young people. There are plenty of experiences depending on your interest including horse riding, kyaking, walking, socialising and visiting our estate near Ullapool on the west coast. We spend most of our time together and I like to include all people staying with us with everything we are doing. Its a brilliant chance to improve your English and there are lots of skills you can learn and build your confiedence doing.

We run a small livery yard with horses and ponies.
The general jobs are to help with what ever is going on with the farm and or doing some gardening maintenance (summer) and light household chores.

At present we are looking for someone who has experience with sheep and who can help us with lambing which starts on 9th March for approximately 4 wks. We really do need help as we have been let down by our usual helper :(
