2 houses joined together, one is my home, the other is for airbnb guests on short term stays. All are surrounded by a largish varied garden with organic vegetable planters as well as wildlife meadow, fruit trees, camomile lawn, wildlife pond and mini woodland etc.
I am retired but play guitar and still do some photography. The house is a mile from Killyleagh, a small historic town dominated by Ireland's largest privately owned castle. Good public transport to and from Belfast (18 miles) from Crossgar, 5 miles away (can drive you there). I need help to do some specific projects in the garden August 2018 if the right kind of person came along - you would need to be strong and sensitive to plants.
The projects are clearing overgrown paths, repairing/rebuilding raised beds. But I also sometimes need general help painting and weeding.
The house is quirky, full of unusual art and decor created by my late wife and I. I am getting married again in June. Ideally would suit someone who r... more inside

I work full-time and therefore love to have help with the maintenance of the house and unruly garden. (about 4 hours a day) in return for own room & board. So, must be handy with tools (drill etc.) for small jobs and painting. We're really just looking for someone flexible and easy-going who can pitch in to whatever needs doing! We are walking distance to town. Bike available.

Myself and my daughter, Niamh, are well-travelled and also used to hosting international guests and have a warm and welcoming house. Sligo is a small town with plenty to see and great traditional music. Niamh plays tin whistle and concertina and we've had some great music sessions with guests over the years! Local bus to Strandhill, where there is great surfing and a lovely beach. The Garavogue River is a two minute walk from the house (see picture).

We have a cat (or rather she condescends to live in our house...), a small dog, Teddy (as he is indeed like a teddy bear). )

We need one mature pe... more inside

We are an active family with 3 children aged 17, 15 and 13 and 2 dogs living in a small country community by the sea in a beautiful picturesque village on the South West coast of Ireland. We grow most of our own vegetables in outdoor beds and in a poly tunnel. We are looking for an energetic person to share our lifestyle, experience some great Irish hospitality! and to help in the garden and home in exchange for a bed and meals. The jobs will be extremely varied - from weeding, preparing beds for the growing season, and watering the polytunnel, walking the dog, laying the table, and cleaning up after meal times to playing mad soccer games in the garden! Looking forward to hearing from you!
