Hello fellow travellers!

If you want to stay only 1 week, 2, 3, 4 … weeks you’re welcome but you may also come for a longer period. We have also one young horse who need to start working so people with some horse experience are welcome!

My goal is to learn English and to share with you the knowledge of the french language.
Most importantly I would like to improve my English so it would be best if you speak only a little french.

My name is Ghislaine and I operate since more than 18 years a Bed & Breakfast in a small and peaceful village in the countryside, named Saint Paul, located in the region of Vosges. The nearest big city is Nancy (1 hour) and Strasbourg (2 hours). There is public transport to Neufchateau (train/bus) and I can pick you up from there by car.

My house features a big garden, green spaces, 3 private rooms, library, guest rooms,… But It is also an original homestead with sheep yards, woolshed and maintenance sheds, paddocks etc.

I’m living in thi... more inside

OUR PROJECT = Rehabilitation of a old stone farmhouse in the forest/ working on our vegetable garden & creating water bassins

As a family we started to change our life style to a more responsible one ( re-use of materials, less waste, vegetarian food). We are learning continuously and like to share experiences and pass a message to our kids.

We are converting a small (abandoned for over 60 yrs) farmhouse into a sustainable living accommodation. We love to share our experience with people who would like to share their experiences with us in return.

Some of our kids are regularly wooffing in other parts of the world.

We live in the South of France between Provence and Ardèche area at the border of the "Cevennes" mountains/natural park area. A beautiful natural environment, but not isolated. We have two little goats, cats and chicken and a friendly dog called 'Noek'. There is lively family atmosphere with kids from 11 to 23 years old. Mixed culture (Dutch, French) a... more inside

Perrine, 55 years old, is a self-employed accountant and administrator.

Denis, 54 years old, gave up his career as collective kitchen fitter and repairer to renovate this former summer camp and turn it into a holiday resort which will also provide reception halls for rent.

We have been together for over twenty years and are rather good at DIY (we have already renovated a three floor house near Paris, where we used to live), but we need help to renovate this place, where we have been living for almost a year now, because it’s too big for just the two of us.

Located on the banks of the Aveyron river in Tarn and Garonne, about three kilometers from the village of Saint Antonin Noble Val (cittaslow labelled), our property is made of three separate buildings: an old mill, a very old building full of charm (approximately 600m2) and a more recent building (approximately 500m2). The land is about 18 acres wide and consists of garden, woodland and meadow. The area offers a wide var... more inside

Patrick's place,in a beautifull mountain area,is eagerly waiting for your visit.I'm slightly physically handicaped and would be happy to receive some help in exchange of sharing this little paradisiac space...Food is mostly organic, not totally vegan,no smocking in the house, but I'm quite open minded...Great collection of historic movies, french, english & spanish fluently spoken, also a bit of german & portugese. Some precisions about me and the place:I leave and sleep downstairs;and have a big room upstairs for my guest(s);two double matresses;I prefer people don't smoke in the house, but can be tolerant, when it rains...I have neither wired-phone nor home internet connection, only a cell phone with a basic subscription which allows me to receive calls and textos, either from france or abroad, but can answer only towards french phone numbers. So if you want to call me from abroad, send first a texto to fix a call apointment (at evening for example).I go down to the village maybe twice or thri... more inside

Aloha everyone, I am Mark! AT THE MOMENT we are looking for people to help with our on-going Permaculture Design:
(Please read profile full so you know what you are getting yourself into, thank you ! )

Five years ago we got our hands on an old run down farm (from around 1780ish) with 16 acres of land, of which 4/5th is usable, the rest is good for the planting of trees.

I currently live here in my mobile home on a full time basis with my six year old son Sirius who stays with us every other week. Also living here full time is Roman who helps take care of the thirtyodd sheep, and Rich who is working in the village but helps when he can.
We have just acquired four beautiful red chickens who are soon to be of egg laying age and a cat by the name of Shere Khan, the hunter! (but super friendly)
All the buildings need renovating and we have put priority into growing food to feed everyone who comes to help.
There is plenty of accomodation with more coming soon (inchalla). We a... more inside
