My property is approx 120acres of bushland with 50acres cleared that i am developing as a macadamia farm. This is a slow process always heaps to do. The accommodation is by means of a caravan and power by form of generator for a few hours each night. It will be an experience. I am situated about 5 minutes drive to the beach or 10 min walk to bus stop. Heaps of wildlife with bunjalung national park as a neighbour plus my dogs, chickens and turkeys. Ideal for for a person or couple that don't mind roughing it a bit and like nature. A car would be good 4WD better but neither a must. Besides being able to relax on the idilic property there is a pushbike to explore with, or come surfing or fishing with myself if that is more your style. It is an area and a stay that all travellers with a sense of eventure will enjoy.
Cheers Tim

We are a group of 3 adults (Sam, 27 male and two 50 year olds) musicians by trade whom own a 100 acre hobby farm on the south coast of NSW. We're somewhat alternative in our farming methods and adhere to a lot of permacultural practices. We're not farming in "producing goods for sale" sense but we keep a few animals and grow an abundance of fruit trees, olive trees and garlic. Hence, there's always something that needs to be done.

Our place is quite incredible as far as scenery is concerned as we've some fantastic views of the surrounding wilderness areas. We're close to some really good beaches and national parks and there's also an array of wildlife that resides on our land.

Accommodation is plentiful. Volunteers have the option to choose between the guestroom in the main house, a large aluminum shed fitted with a functioning kitchen, bathroom, lounge and bedroom (it was the former family home but is in need of some restoration). We have a large Tipi that's very much capable... more inside

Whilst described as non-organic, we are a non-chemical beef cattle cell grazing operation, focused on regenerative landscape management. We use horses or work on foot - all the better to understand the landscape. Daily activities include cattle work, gardening and vegetable garden, caring for smaller animals (horses, dogs, cat, chickens, sheep and alpacas). About a 1/2 hours drive from Willow Tree railway station, which is about a five hour train ride from Sydney. Stay in our house - own bedroom and bathroom - Internet available, we need to be careful about download limits. We are often busy with additional off farm activities, so helpers need to be able to work alone at times.
