We have a private self contained cottage for our helpers. It has queen size bed, kitchenette, large living area, outside deck, heat pump, cozy fire place, internet and bathroom. It is super quiet, peaceful and unique, built from native timber some 90 years ago, surrounded by native bush and native birds singing all day located at the bottom of our main property.

We are a married couple (a Chef and a local Wine Maker) and we have the best dog in the world:) We are located in a charming coastal village in beautiful Rocky Bay, Waiheke Island. We are a five minute walk from a large regional park with many beautiful hikes. So if you are a tramper and love hiking, this is a great spot. Also walking distance to the coast with great swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing spots.

Requiring single or couples for gardening and general maintenance, eg painting, minor repairs, weeding and basic to advanced gardening. For a term of 1 week 4/5 hours a day in exchange for accomodati... more inside

We live at Muriwai Beach, 35 minutes north west of Auckland with expansive ocean views. The property is half an acre of rambling trees, plants and lawn.

Muriwai Beach is a beautiful west coast beach with lots to offer in the area. Bush walks, surfing, golf, mountain biking and wineries.

We have three children aged 12, 10 and 7. Lots of fun! Plus three goldfish, four Guinea pigs and two cats :)

There is caravan accommodation with awesome views. Hammocks to lie in and the use of mountain bikes and a surf board. Wifi included.

Gardening and maintenance of the property is the main work. Building skills would be fantastic too. We have recently renovated but still lots to do. Please see below...

4 hours work a day for food and board. Flexible with arrangements. No smokers please.

Look forward to hearing from you :)

We are looking for a single person or a couple (25 years and older), for a week or two.

We live in a 4 Bedroom, double story suburban home. We would like to host a couple/person who can help with a bit of garden work and outdoor cleaning up around the house, its not a very big garden, but needs a tidy up; cleaning the outside of the house and windows and inside cleaning of the house and windows.

Even though there are busses, it would be better if you had your own car to get around.

We offer accommodation and meals (main meal is in the evening), for 4 hours of work per day per person.
Please only apply if you are hard working, have no other part-time work during this period and have references.

I am an artist (painter) currently working on a new exhibition. I have an interesting house in the bush near the sea, with lots of sunshine and privacy. I have a very friendly little red kelpie dog who loves the company of her helpx visitors! There is a waterfall here with stream and ponds set in the lush bush. With plenty of practical jobs to do both inside and outside in the bush and in the gardens, I welcome visitors who are willing diligent helpers . I have a garden
and orchard so that there are plenty of fresh veges for my helpers as they come and go. I am a good cook, am willing to teach my helpers how to cook from time to time. I am happy for you to sometimes cook for me and other helpers if they are here! I enjoy sharing my home and life with others. I network

for my visitors if I can. The walks at Bethells Beach and the connected tracks to the the Waitakere Ranges are wonderful. Te Henga/Bethells is a vast sprawling wilderness quite close to Auckland city but ... more inside

Set in the stunningly beautiful Dune Lakes district of the South Kaipara Hills, looking down from a ridge onto the majestic Kaipara Harbour. Equally close to the white sand beaches of the east and the wild black sands of the west coast, the property is moments from Te Rau Puriri park. Te Rau Puriri is unique because it offers access to one of the best beaches on the Kaipara Harbour and the major lakes (Rototoa and Kuwakatai) on the peninsula.

We`re 30 minutes from the hot springs at Parakai and 70 minutes from Auckland city, so your own transport is essential.

This is home to Peter and Robert, a small herd of Dexter cattle, a flock of Wiltshire sheep, black Orpington chickens and six Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs (which we show). You really must like big dogs!

You`ll have your own room, double or single and we love our food (sorry no vegetarians). In return for help with the housework, gardens, grounds, and stock (4 hours a day, weekends off) you can share our life in this peac... more inside

Share our home and help me in an Arts Centre on Waiheke Island
We live in a beautiful place called Waiheke island
which is well known for Art and Vineyards
I am a Fashion Designer, Textile Artist and curator. I run an Arts Centre based in an Old Police Station
Living with us is a hive of activity,
I have a lot at varied jobs including helping with gallery, sewing, generally keeping the gallery tidy and running. and helping with tourists. If you are creative you could make stuff this could suit you. Theres always a lot of cataloguing stuff and some housekeeping and gardening/building
We live close to the village and close to the beaches
in your spare time you can enjoy bush and beach walks, or just relaxing. or enjoying some of the islands tourist attractions. Living on an island means we have restricted infrastructure regarding water and waste so we actively practice mindfulness in all that we do ensure our footprint on this earth is small and unthreatening

We have gardens, fruit trees, chickens, ducks, cats, dog and cows.
The house is old but comfortable you will have your own room, shower and toilet.
We have a lot of tidying to do in the grounds and garden. So lots of weeding the pathways, clearing overgrown garden beds, mowing the lawns (if it's dry enough), cutting the hedge, etc. We also want to build a fence to keep the ducks out of the garden. If raining, there is some inside painting to do. And there are various other outside chores too.
Prefer a man.
Absolutely prefer a Frenchman, I will help with your English if you help me to improve my French :-)
I would like someone for just a week then see how things are and if there's more work.

We are in the country, about 60kms north of Auckland - we can arrange to pick you up from Helensville or Silverdale or Albany maybe even Auckland, if you don't have a car.

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you, cheers Judi.

Hello
We are a family of four living in a nice suburban street on the north shore in Auckland. The beach is 200m away and is a great place to relax, go swimming or just a nice walk round the rocks. We have a smallish property with nice neighbors. We have twin girls who are 11 years old.
Kirianne here, we are looking for someone or a couple to help us with various tasks. Website management, garden stuff or decluttering and packing up our house as we are moving soon. There are many odd jobs you could help us with so whatever your practical skills we can probably find something for you to do! Ideally we would like 1-2 people (a couple or 2 friends). A 1-2 week stay would be great. We are self employed and work mostly from home. Christian is an artist and a film maker and I work on various websites. In return for your help we can give you a place to stay (a caravan), food, family experience, close to beautiful beaches including Long Bay Regional Park, close to bus and shops. 5 hours w... more inside

Well hello there,

We are Ange and Martin and we have a few teenagers that keep our life pretty interesting and exciting. I think that we are living in one of New Zealands most beautiful places, but I must say every place in NZ has it's own charm.
We are situated between Warkworth and Matakana. A few beautiful beaches and surf places are nearby.
It's an hour drive North of Auckland. So we have best of both worlds...the countryside but also close enough to town for some action.

We have a big lifestyle block, 86 Acre but mostly bush. We farm a few cows, calves, a horse, some chickens and some turkeys. We have an orchard and a veggie patch which always need some TLC.

Beside that we run a farm related business from home.

The general jobs, as everyone else's, would be gardening, weeding, trimming some hedges / trees, chopping some firewood, planting shrubs, trees and helping on the farm with some maintenance. Like fixing some shelters, fences, painting some sheds. Like ev... more inside
