Cairns is a gorgeous please to visit, and this is an especially good this time of year as the warmth brings lots of friendly visitors to our city.

Our home fits with the Cairns life in that it`s relaxed, easy-going and very welcoming.

We are a self-employed couple living just 5 mins from the city looking for some help with our home. We are looking for helpers for general housekeeping and garden maintenance in exchange for accommodation.

We are seeking helpers for garden cleanup, household cleaning and tidying for 2 - 3 hours work per day.

You will live in a bedroom in our home, with a king sized bed. Our home is what is called a "Queenslander", which has a distinctive style.

We provide everything you would be used to at home; kitchen, wifi Internet, linen etc. It`s just like sharing a house with friends. We have plenty of room for a couple. Our house also has a BIG pool.

The bus stop is just 1 min walk from our house. We also have a very small friendly puppy... more inside

Hi we have moved home again :D
We now have a property very close to Noosa.
There is a house on the property and if we feel particularly hospitable and you are really cool you might be invited to join us.
However, there is heaps of room for you to camp.
At the moment you would need to be totally self sufficient in your ability to camp.
We are in the very first stages of developing our place and we have lots of family and friends coming to stay so they can enjoy beautiful Eumundi and Noosa and surrounds.
If you would like a beautiful place to camp that is pretty close to everything. You are welcome to come work for us. We are just getting organised. So we need to build some infrastructure and get the vegies in the ground.
Usually we provide a bed and food. But right now... we need to do a lot of work to get to that stage.
If you are interested in hanging out with the gang and helping us get the place more comfortable and resourced.... hit us up :D

Hello,

I've had many helpXers stay with me over the last couple of years, and have met some amazing people.

I live in a lovely house in a small, quiet town with lots of birds and trees around.

You can stay in my beautiful home in return for 3 hours of light work each day (you would provide and prepare your own meals...you don't need to do any cooking for anyone else except yourself).

The work is very light and would include weeding, gardening, house cleaning, etc

The house is within very short walking distance (2 minutes!) to shops, cafes, a pub etc

I'm looking forward to hearing from you..
Kara

Update Jan 2020. We have a project coming up where we will video training sessions with several of our unstarted horses to document the progress and methodologies used. The project is expected to run for 4-6 weeks.
We would love to have 1-2 people who have video recording / editing skills come to stay and help with this project. We do have some basic video equipment if you don't have any with you.
It's great if you also have horse experience as we have horses who are already trained to ride that you are able to come riding on, but not essential.
We have around 20 horses and are training them all though out the year, we would love for people with horse experience to come and stay with us and work with our lovely horses.
Our property is just on the edge of Ipswich, so only half an hour drive from Brisbane City, an hour to Gold Coast and 2 hours to Sunshine Coast. We have good wifi internet available and plenty of phone coverage, and public transport is a short walk away or we can... more inside

We are a house with a spare bedroom, and a huge semi-converted double garage with loft if you prefer more privacy, in a beautiful Ecovillage.
Community includes large saltwater pool, 2 swimming creeks, forest with bushwalks. We are looking for people at the moment in exchange for gardening, house repairs and housework. If you have any trade skills (e.g. carpentry) that would be a huge bonus.
I have a 13 yr old daughter, who loves having helpXers in the house with us. Just 7 mins from beaches, as well as having the Ecovillage's facilities and Currumbin Rockpools and waterfall inland.
We ask that you do 6 x 4hrs/day,or 5 x 5 hrs, or equivalent time, however you wish to arrange it.
We are a Non-smoking house.
We recently returned from 6 yrs living overseas, so all but one of our reviews are from 2012, when we were living here before.
