We own and manage a permaculture farm and currently building a strawbale training room. It is a unique oasis in Midwestern Australia which has been established over the last 25 years. Spring is the most beautiful time of the year. We educate people in sustainable dryland permaculture practices. We are also Willing workers on organic farm hosts and love to spend time and share with others interested in our work. We provide food and accommodation for work. Prefer a minimum of one week stays, around 36 hours work with 2 days off. We are 6km from the coast and 11km from Geraldton. We supply you with a bicycle while you are here. We like it if you can share house duties such as cooking or washing up.
We have lots of projects and maintenance always on the go with volunteers. Our work includes nursery work, animal husbandry (emus, chooks, ducks and geese) strawbale building (at the moment) and farm maintenance, gardening and food and seed processing, this varies with the season. We are offering PAID WORK Only - prefer one male worker but can offer some work for a couple. Looking for a worker(s) ASAP!

Ideal for a helper who is interested in earning extra cash to supplement their income. We can be flexible with the hours to fit in with other work commitments.

I am sorry we are not looking to host anyone at this time, you must have your own accommodation.

Our property is located between Margaret River (the town) and Prevelly (the beach) so fairly central not far to drive!

Please send an email or text for further details.

Young family with three children under 11. Our property includes extensive gardens but is not a farm as such though we are bordered on two sides by farmland. There is plenty of home, animal and garden care with which we'd appreciate help and our children love having guests here from around the world. We have a dog called 'Happy' who enjoys a walk about our quiet town so dog lovers or people who enjoy a stroll are most welcome. There may be opportunities to help on business jobs away from the home too which allows you to see more of the area and visit some great gardens. The town of Boyanup where we live is 15 mins from Bunbury so you can also venture to town from here easily... We look fwd to meeting lovely folk with HelpX

Dear helpers,

Help exchange available!

We are in the early stages of developing our family farm, with the hope of creating a completely self-sufficient lifestyle. We have horses, cows and some sheep, and are in the process of setting up large garden areas and orchard.

Work on the farm would include tree planting and the rehabilitation of bushland, feeding and managing livestock (horses, cows, sheep), horse riding, as well as participating in odd jobs/household work where needed.

We also have a small cottage that we are getting ready to use for short-stay accommodation at the end of 2018, on a property just out of Esperance.

Food and accommodation are provided, however, there is plenty of space for caravans/camper-vans as well. Couples are welcome, and any period of stay is considered.

We have had many wwoofers stay with us in the past and thoroughly enjoy sharing our home, and look forward to sharing our beautiful part of the world with you!
