I live in a large modern house with a variable number of older children (19,18,15yrs) plus 2 cats and 2 dogs and a large wildish garden, no veg but flowers, fruit trees and bushes, lawns, japanese knotweed that needs regular picking out, taming wild bits, woodland. So enthusiastic cooks cleaners, diy enthusiasts, gardeners, most welcome. What I most often need is someone who can housesit while we are away, feed the pets and do some jobs, for a few days or a week or two at a time. Upcoming dates that I need house sitting for are May 9th to 13th 2019 and the 5th to the 14th of July 2019 - flexible either side with those dates. We live in a small village, irish and other music in pubs locally, instruments in the house, cello, guitar, ukulele, keyboard. We are warm, welcoming, lively, easy going, try to eat healthily. I frequently feel stretched so would welcome the support in the house. My children have gone to a local Steiner/Waldorf School and I work in a neighbouring Camphill ... more inside

we have just moved into a large house and a garden we are trying to bring back to life. but it is too much work for us as i have moblity issues. we would be looking for some help around the house with cooking and cleaning and even a little painting and some help and advice if you have any with the garden as we are both novices. even though we are not organic we are praticing organic methods.

we are located by a lake and if you like fishing we have a lake boat. There are lots of walking routes around. so if you like gardening and fishing this is the place for you. our home would suit a couple best as we are rural and not home all the time. I am a reflexologist and work one day a week form home. My partner has fished for ireland on the irish fly fishing team so can show you a trick or two. we look foward to sharing our home with you.

We are developing a small sustainable community based upon ancient Native American communications ideas of The Circle Way as put forward by Wampanoag elder Manitonquat (Medicine Story) which helps us to live and work together as a community. We have a beautiful area of land in the hills of East Clare with woodlands and open field areas and a comfortable community house for visiting helpers to use (single and 2-bed / 3-bed rooms available). We are developing gardens and an orchard and we have a polytunnel. We usually ask volunteers to work 4 to 5 hrs per day and have weekends free. There is a variety of work to do according to weather conditions, including occasional indoor work. We have plans to develop a large open-sided barn to create rooms for meetings, games, workshops. We also need to construct new garden areas needing fences, polytunnel, raised beds, clearing field-drains, etc. In addition we are working on personal spaces for residents and regular cutting and storing of f... more inside
