We are a family of 4 with 2 kids, 4 year old boy and a 2 year old girl, and live in the northern suburbs of Brisbane. My husband PJ is a lawyer and I am a currently working on my Psychology degree.

Our home is a spacious 4 bedroom house with a large yard about 30 minutes north of Brisbane CBD and 30 minutes from the airport. I have recently started a small vegetable patch and would love to expand it and grow our own veggies

We are looking for help with day to day household chores including cooking, cleaning, light gardening and childminding. We will tailor the work to suit what you are good at and the hours are flexible. Would suit someone after work that is not too strenuous, the most important thing is that you are patient and willing to help where needed, it also helps if you are a morning person because the kids wake up very early! A good sense of humor is also essential with the kids! The work is a max of 4 hours a day 5 days a week.

You will have your own room with a ... more inside

We have a small farm 1.5 hrs from Brisbane. We have a fully self contained cottage for our helpers. We run a small herd of cattle using regenerative agriculture practices, and we have an ever expanding organic vegetable and orchard for home use. We also have a lovely native garden that needs maintaining. My husband and I have 3 daughters, all in primary school who enjoy riding their horses on our property. We have chooks, ducks, 2 dogs, even a rescued wallaby that is part of our family. We would love help with the orchard, fencing paddocks, some house cleaning/cooking, and even anyone that is musical or good with horses for our kids. Someone that knows about permaculture would be great. Ideally suited for a couple.

We are not needing anyone right now.

There is crocodile spotting on the river, swimming in local freshwater creeks and swimming holes (no crocs), Weary Bay Beach and fresh coconuts for drinking and eating! EDIT - due to the uncertainties surrounding the worldwide virus, we will not be accepting helpers who have arrived from other states - especially Victoria. ( if you have managed to somehow come from a different state since July - you will need to self quarantine somewhere for 2 weeks before you arrive at our farm. Sorry to sound harsh - but that 'somewhere' to quarantine for 2 weeks is NOT my home, nor with my children. We will need evidence that you have been in Queensland for at least 21 days before you arrive here)

Although our district has not had any cases of the virus to date, it does mean that going to see and do tourist things is limited and that you may be on the property for a large amount of your time here. Please consider this carefully.

Please also note that although we may accept you for certain dates - if we go into another lockdown and travel is not allowed, then clearly this arrangement will have to change. Sorry we can't be any more flexible than this.

Hello helpers! We are a little family living on a rural property near Lake Barrine, on the Atherton Tablelands. Brett is Australian, Caroline is French, and we have a baby, Ellinjaa (1 year old), and a dog, Izzy. We live a simple life.

There's a lot a jobs, big and small, to be done, so we wouldn't mind a hand at the moment. Jobs are mostly building and gardening. They include:
- building a short roof extension behind the shed
- building a raised garden bed
- building a sandpit for our son
- setting up irrigation lines for the garden
- weed management (no chemicals)
- mulching trees
- building a chicken house
- and more!

It doesn't matter if you don't have any building or gardening experience, as long as you are willing to have a go. All jobs are fairly easy and Brett will work with you most of the time.
We will ask you to do about 4h of work a day, 6 days a week. Mostly in the morning, but sometimes in the afternoon. It's flexible, depending on our schedule.
