We are a small family farm located 6 km below the Murray falls. Murray river runs through our property, and especially in warmer weather we walk down for a swim most afternoons. We are a family of 5, we have a teenage son a 3 year old daughter and a 10 month old son. Both our mums live with us as well. We run a wholesale plant nursery, 40 head of cattle a few sheep, and a few pigs. We of course have our family pets too, a couple of dogs, many cats, a bird, fish and a turtle. We have many different jobs and work to do on our farm, some work in the plant nursery, Sometimes in our veggie patch and sometimes odd jobs round the house and yard. We would very much like to get some new helpers soon, please let us know if you’re interested.

We have a quiet, rural home with small orchard and a vegie garden on 5 acres. We're 10km from Kuranda village and 35km from Cairns. It's 3km to nearest shop/bus stop, so helpers with a car are best but we can pick up. Helping here is a mix of house maintenance, cooking (we love it when people cook in our nice kitchen!), car washing, weeding, gardening - but it's also great when someone has a special skill (one lovely HelpXer loved sewing so all our sewing jobs got done!). Nice big bedroom with QS bed and your own bathroom. It's very peaceful and quiet here and we only have Telstra mobile phone reception but there is plenty of WiFi. No smoking and no pets can be accepted as we have lots of wallabies and birds. We are a couple in our late 50s who care about our environment and the arts (and work in those areas) and love a wide range of music, yoga, walking. We enjoy travelling and interesting conversation. There are lots of great places to visit for bushwalks and swims near us. We l... more inside

Newly formed business on an few acre of land at the base of a mountain across from Cairns Tropical North Queensland Australia. Beautiful location. My own website is still under construction. Needing the help of 1 or 2 volunteers to assist with the planting of herb seedlings and other vegetables and fruits and do some mowing and clearing of grass. Not too much hard work and plenty of time during the day to go site seeing and swimming in the beautiful waterfalls located on the property.

Plenty of space for caravan. Have sheltered off grid accommodation and toilet shower and cooking facilities. Will provide food and accommodation in exchange for help.

Please contact me if you would like to know more.

SORRY ---NOT--- TAKING ANY HELPERS AT THE MOMENT!!

We have moved farms and the new place is fabulous ... although it is still very rough.

We will still be, baking bread, feeding horses and chickens, growing vegies, growing sprouts and micro greens. We are not milking and making cheese at this time but with enough help will get back into that was well.

We are establishing a new sustainable farm which has no mains power and limited running water. If you need comfort you better bring your own hahaha. ... otherwise be prepared to rough it a bit as the new accommodation will be more like camping.

At this new location priorities will be setting up and finishing more accommodation, and building/fixing the roads. Plans also include building tree houses, track development, a meditation hall, solar and/or hydraulic ram water pumps, a cob oven and clay stove. If you have any previous experience in carpentry, earth moving, concreting, painting, sign writing, electrical wiring, hor... more inside

Spring cleaning, handy person projects, plenty of work at our shabby chic but comfortable rambling home in its permaculture garden on the beautiful red soils of Lamb Island. The island is very quiet and a small community. We expect our helpers to work in the mornings, help cook the evening meal and fit in with our neighbours' early nights. Otherwise there is plenty of island to explore, and free travel between our group of four.

Looking for one or two people for minimum 2 nights but maximum 3 nights. Longer stays possible if we all get on, including Cam the rescue greyhound. We are experienced home stay carers, Airbnb hosts etc and can offer individual lessons in English, boat operation and driving for a price. Islands offer mostly natural beauties, curlews and mangroves. We have bikes you are welcome to use.

Plans for this year mostly planting out new areas, re-vegetating.

We have around 20 horses and are training them all though out the year for riding and for harness work, we would love for people with horse experience to come and stay with us and work with our lovely horses.
Our property is just on the edge of Ipswich, so only half an hour drive from Brisbane City, an hour to Gold Coast and 2 hours to Sunshine Coast. We have good wifi internet available and plenty of phone coverage, but public transport is not available here so you do need a vehicle to get out and about with or we can help with transport to the nearest train station.
We have an abundance of Wildlife in the nature around our home with Eagles, Kangaroos, Rosellas, Lizards, Quail at different times of the year and of course lots of other types of birds.
We would love you to come and help with our horses and general property maintenance, feeding horses, mowing, fencing etc. We have an airconditioned twin bedroom available, so this may suit a couple or friends traveling together. ... more inside

A small cordyline propagating nursery situated in beautiful tropical
Far North Queensland. We are looking for help with gardening,
planting trees, weeding, mulching, making compost, some help with cleaning would
be great.Cyclone Yasi took our original shadehouse and work is
underway to replace it with a smaller more efficient one.

Mission Beach is a nice drive away through rainforest and Licuala palm forests and cassowary are often sighted on the way. Several Islands are right out in front of Googara Beach including Dunk and Hinchinbrook and the winter fishing is just fabulous. Pelagic species abound and are taken by boat either trolling or with lures. Large Spanish mackerel are always possible.
