My farm gently slopes down to a river with 500 olive trees and 20 fruit trees. Creek fed by a warm spring and covered in water lilies. Platypus often visible in both creek and river. I have 2 goats, a cat, a dog and four sheep, due to have lambs in September. Vegetable garden currently in disarray due to flood last year, but normally provides me with most of my vegetables. Work involves planting, pruning, weeding and looking after animals.

Hi,

We are currently looking for helpers for some garden mass plantings in September where the weather is still cool and hopefully the natural irrigation will be plentiful :)

We have a largish urban bush block where we have recently created some paths which give us access to the tricky steep parts of the garden - and now we would like to fill these slopes with native plants. You would be helping to cart soil and mulch from the roadside down to the bottom of the garden, dig holes and fill them with plants, bag them so the wildlife don't munch them on the first night - and celebrate!

We are hoping to plant about 300 small to medium size plants.

Ive put some garden photos on here and a shot of the flat.

We live about 3km from the centre of Hobart and have direct access to the mountain biking and bush walking tracks of Mt Wellington. We are close to the rivulet track which is a cycle/walkway direct to town.

We have a beautiful self contained small studio under the ho... more inside

Overlooking Sullivanís Cove and Hobartís city centre stands Corinda, a stately Victorian mansion.

Corindaís historic outbuildings, the gardenerís cottage, the servantsí quarters and the coach-house are now delightful self contained cottages.

Awaken to the sound of birdsong, then take a stroll across the cobbled courtyard into the extensive gardens, just a short walk from the Hobart CBD.

We are currently working inside the main house and need helpers for all sorts of things - cleaning, helping in the garden, moving furniture, helping us keep an eye on our little boy.

Give us a call if you are interested - we need a couple of people from the 27th of December.

A baby land project nestled in 50 acres of bush in a forgotten part of Lachlan Valley, only 45 mins drive from Hobart. We care about bush regeneration, organic farming, building simple, sustainable and smart systems and structures out of recycled materials, and respect for the Land.

We are looking for people to help with setting up the garden, building structures and systems and general property maintenance = 8 hours/week. Our Shack Palace is super DIY built out of pallets only and recycled nails! The land includes direct access to hundreds of metres of creek and falls with mysterious tracks weaving across the valley. We are a small vineyard in Tasmania looking for people to assist working on the vineyard, general property maintenance or entertaining our children.

Bream Creek where we are located is a stunning location of rolling green hills looking out of the Tasman Sea, we are also quite close to Hobart Airport (30 mins), Hobart (45 mins) and Sorell (20 mins) or Dunalley (10 mins). There is a fantastic beach nearby as well as plenty to do and see, especially if you like the sea and outdoors.

We will provide food and accommodation and can assist with transport and expect about 15hrs/week work in return.

We are located 30 minutes south of Launceston. We have 3 children 12, 10, 8. The visitor would have their own room and bathroom in a large homestead. Also would have use of a vehicle with prior arrangement. Jobs would and could include cleaning, gardening, tidying up general household maintenance. There may be some farm work depending on skill set and experience. There would defiantly be some work with horses also depending on riding experience and discipline. We have 3 dogs, Maddie (Kelpie) Bill (Kelpie) and Rosie (Labradore).
