We are starting a self sustaining arts factory/ retreat and we need your help! We have a huge piece of land way out in the northland bush. The plan is to build beehives and start a huge vege garden, clear more land and get lots of animals and do up the house and barn and enhance the natural beauty of the area. we eventually want to have a sanctuary where backpackers and more long term visitors can come through and have a true kiwi experience, with horse rides and hiking and fruit picking and beekeeping and mead making and gardening and the list goes on. We need people with all sorts of skills to help make this a reality, with current jobs being mostly clearing bush, gardening, and general upkeep of the house and land, painting, building, cleaning, sorting, and we want input and ideas.

Clive and Jorja run a large dairy farm where we milk 600 cows all year round. We have two young boys aged 7 and 5 called Tazman and Cooper.

We are located in the lovely Doubtless Bay with many stunning beaches close by so it would be best if you had a vehicle so you can go and explore the sights.

We don't mind if you work for 6 hours for a couple of days and then have a day off to go looking around the north.

Although we are a dairy farm we wont expect you to milk our cows as we have staff who do this, (and they wake at 4:30AM to milk.)

Please don't apply unless you are over 25, a non-smoker and have your own transport.

We are located 45 minutes north of Kerikeri - on the first road after Taupo Bay turn off. Take Oruaiti/Sawyer Road, then turn left onto Windust Road and we are the last house on the farm.

We are a cosmopolitan family (British /Chinese) with two children, 8 and 11. We moved to NZ two years ago after both working as senior execs in Asia for many years. Our new home is a lifestyle block, half of which is protected woodland, mostly huge Puriri trees up to 600 years old which cast a peaceful spell on everyone who enters. We live in a historic area of park-like scenery between Kerikeri, Piahia and Kaikohe in Northland. These towns are about 15-20 minutes easy drive away with many great beaches. Own transport thus desirable although our cars will be used for school runs etc. Clean driving licence essential.

We are in the final stage of refurbishing the house and large shed (mainly small jobs like shelves, hanging pictures etc.) plus the garden/orchard/veg plot is being weeded/planted.

We need help with the above plus house cleaning/tidying, driving the children to school or after-school activities, maybe some simple cooking. Would suit a single or couple; min... more inside

We are located close to Kerikeri which is central to the Bay of Islands. We manage this 2500 hectare farm which runs sheep and beef. There are opportunities to ride horses, pig hunt, or explore the bush tracks and river valleys. Accommodation is modest consisting of a spare room, double bed and shared bathroom. The kids have all left home. We envisage being able to offer a good kiwi experience, country fun and adventure with some excellent home cooking in exchange for a few indoor or outdoor chores. John and I are in our fifties but we are happy to have any age group to visit. We have one pet dog and he is a house dog.

We are a friendly, family run backpacker hostel in Kerikeri. We often need cleaners to help keep our hostel at the top of it's game. Sometimes our cleaners go on to be relief managers if they can stay for longer. We love to have a positive team to help us and it's important to us that all our guests have great customer service. Contact us about being part of the team.

This is a lovely Rustic Organic Retreat in the wild hills of Northland. We endeavour to live a more simple yet conscious way of life in a very natural setting. Many amazing people pass through this place and wonderful connections are made encouraging an ever expanding network of inspired and positive people around the world.
We have 2 gorgeous big dogs, chickens, gardens, big pond and bush sauna and a yoga and meditation studio. Permaculture systems are also being developed. Help is needed in gardens and in and around the buildings. A variety of tasks to choose.
We enjoy a vegetarian diet and prefer a smoke, drug and alcohol free life style.

Work consists of general property maintenance, landscaping, and some gardening. We have a few renovation projects underway, so if you're handy or have any building skills you are who we are looking for. Work hard, play hard. Days off will consist of fishing/diving trips and outdoor adventures. If you are in the Bay of Islands area we will be able to pick you up. Accommodation is a furnished bus with two single beds, a queen bed and a deck.
