Hi there!

We are a family of three living on a 15 acre property 15 mins south of Geraldton, about 4 hours from Perth. We are Max, Ruby and Banjo. We have many animals on the block including our delightful puppy Dusty, my pet python Seb,ducks and chooks. Ruby is my beautiful 11 year old who loves singing and dancing. Banjo is 9 and loves to be creative and enjoys his motorbike and playing the drums.
Accomodation is in the main house or in the self contained loft above the gallery / workshop.
One of the current projects is to bring the loft up to an Airbnb standard and create an amazing living area. So there will be cleaning, painting and furniture making jobs to do and I am really looking for to the challenge. There is a large deck area (see photo) which over looks the many large native trees.

Hi, we are a three person family. Myself my 6 yr old son and 2 yr old daughter. We live in a small house on a big garden so there is lots of room for camping. For the right person you can have your own room. Our home is alcohol and smoke free, we do not have wifi. Pretty old school nature based. We live close to lots of beautiful forests and beaches so it would be best if you have a car. I need help with the kids and the house work. If you think this might suit you, send me a msg. We are a small dairy goat stud, 45 minutes from Perth. We practise organic/natural farming methods and like to produce some of our food. We also make goats milk soap and cheese...

We have our own horses, currently breeding quarter horses, we have 4 breeding mares and our own stallion and have been breaking and training horses in natural horsemanship techniques for 30 years.

We do not require you to have any horse or livestock experience to enjoy a stay with us, we also have a very friendly 18 month old german shepherd dog.

There is a variety of jobs, mostly outside on the property such as gardening, fencing, painting, animal care etc, depending on personal ability, helpers usually work 4-5 hours a day, with plenty of time for coffee and food in between, sunday is usually a rest day for personal activities.

We like to go at a steady pace, nothing is rushed, and we love to learn about other countries, so there is plenty of time for cultural exchanges.

We lo... more inside

Hi Helpxers.

Small family in a beautiful hilly part of South western Australia, we have a few animals and 2 children, in need of a small amount of assistance with both animals and children. Feeding and maintenance, building and help with improvements of projects on the small farm.
In return of a few hours work I can offer an room within our house including a bathroom and dinner provided.

I stayed with a number of families in Canada whom I found through helpx
I found the experience so beneficial with my travels and developed a bond with my hosts and still keep in contact today.
Please email if you'd like to experience the South West of Australia it's so beautiful. We can even arrange a trip to the closest beach or Perth etc.
Look forward to hearing from you

Sarah
