Double bedroom available in family house with 3 bathrooms in the town of Oban on West coast of Scotland.

Shortish 1-2 week stays welcome in return for help in garden so ideally someone with gardening/landscaping experience or willingness to get stuck in and learn! Happy to provide meals and flexible and happy to negotiate how much work, thought maybe if someone was staying a week could help 3 of the days and go of exploring 4. Open to suggestion.

I have previously been a helpx helper and have a spare room so thought this a good way to make progress with my garden whilst giving someone the opportunity to stay in a great location for exploring the west coast - please message me for further details.

Must like children and cats.

Very convenient location 5 minutes walk from centre of town / ferry / train / bus.

Message for more details etc
Thank you

This is a small farm on the sea loch of Loch Broom, next to the fishing village of Ullapool which is 6 miles further along the coast.

We have cattle (including highland cattle) plus there are areas of wildlife management. On the farm there are two rivers which flow into the broom estuary, which support salmon, sea trout, otters and sea birds.

The farmhouse is located at the head of Loch Broom. We are in the process of developing the farm towards organic certification and doing work to live up to Scottish Agricultural Department biodiversity requirements.

The farm is organised by Jane and worked by Tam,Johnny and helpers.

We garden vegetables in a large poly tunnel and aim to eat and provide organic and sustainable food from the farm and local area.

Typical work hours are about four or five hours a day.
Typical jobs are clearing brush and coppicing for land management, cow husbandry, renovations of a cottage, painting, cutting rushes, timber harvesting and fen... more inside

I am the owner of a cottage with 10 acres of land keeping sheep and geese. Situated close to Abergavenny in the Brecon Beacons National Park it is easy to get to from major cities by public transport. I can provide an opportunity for a foreign female (non smoker) to improve spoken English and see a great part of Wales.

My hosting is ideal for someone who is self motivated and is happy to be outside in the fresh air. Time can be spent walking my dog and growing vegetables. You can enjoy nature, I have many books to help identify the plants growing wild in the area.

Help with general housework and some painting & decorating would be appreciated. Someone who enjoys cooking would be ideal, I am happy to help in the kitchen. My favourite food is Chinese/Thai so a helper from Asia would be great!

I like helpers to stay for a minimum period of 14 days. The hours can be flexible and I can help arrange activities for your time off, I would be happy to take you around the area... more inside

We have moved into some barns which we converted half into a home and half into an engineering workshop. We are surrounded by spectacular countryside with opportunity for walking and cycling. You would have lots of opportunity to meet people as there are always friends and family visiting so it is a fantastic place to practice english. There is a train station 3 miles away. We have four lovely children aged 10, 9 and 7, and 1, chickens and a vegetable garden.
We have a bedroom and bathroom at the other end of our house so you would have privacy and not be woken up early! We hope to have people who enjoy spending time with children, can help us in the garden and poly tunnel, and help running our busy house hold. (Hanging up washing, help in the kitchen etc)

Hello!

I am looking for someone to come in May/June to give me help with family life.

My three kids (13, 10, 5) do not go to regular school. So I need some extra help around the house. It may be help with tidying or planting in the garden, taking the youngest to the park or help with clearing up the kitchen. Or shopping or - anything really - so I can try to get a moment of work done!

Your room in the attic is newly done and you will have a top of the range Bo Concept sofa-bed. However some of the house is still quite chaotic - just to warn you!

We are an easy-going family, every day is different. If that sounds as if it would suit you - come stay! I'm looking for four hours help a day with weekends off - though occasionally I would love you to babysit in the evening, part of your hours, of course.

We live in South East London zone 2 in a quiet leafy conservation zone called Telegraph Hill. Nearest overground train is New Cross Gate and Queens Road Peckham. The ne... more inside

I am looking for people willing to work outdoors for the summer season putting up marquees for a variety of events around the home counties.

Out base is between Bicester and Aylesbury, but we will travel around Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, and Bedfordshire.

There will be plenty of opportunities to travel the local area, along with occasional work trips around the country.

We don't have accommodations, but can look to help arrange this, but will offer a wage. It is the perfect opportunity for a traveller or traveling couple looking to earn an income.

Experience not necessary, just a proactive attitude.

Full time work available through until October.
