Our site is in a lovely rural area, lifts to the nearest town and some evenings out would be possible. We are about 10 km from the sea.
We are trying to create a vegetable garden(we do have a polytunnel) and space for some animals on our 2 acre site. We also offer self catering and B&B accommodation, as well as starting up a fitness retreat ( which will be organised and run by our son Marc).
Des is a local musician/singer and sings in local pubs. Heidi likes outdoors and cooking.

We currently have 2 very friendly dogs and 2 cats.

We are looking for someone mature and dependable who can help in our hostel when we are busy and do all sorts of jobs around the garden and some general help around the house. We also need someone who would be happy to house sit if we are away for a week or so and is able to deal with guests if necessary.
We are 5 km from the nearest town and have 2 bikes that can be used by helpers.
this may suit 1 or 2 people from med twenties.

House built in 2004, was about 70% finished when we moved in and is probably about 90% finished now. Snug house. I work a few days a week usually less than 3.... cleaning in house always welcome and some painting still to be done...a lot done, more to do....large back garden which needs a lot of maintenance in summer and lots of wood from a dismantled deck that Id love to make into some vegetable planters or a dog run.
have a lovely plan for a front garden which has not been started yet... the plan is on paper and there is a model done. I am a single parent of a 15 year old guy who has been home educated but now in school till 4. I like to cook but equally enjoy not cooking if you want to cook, we enjoy being exposed to some new cultures and always treat helpxrs as part of the family. We live in a very beautiful area which has just won two awards for best kept town in Ireland. We live near the river and can give lifts to the nearby towns or there is a good bus service also,... more inside
