We are a French English couple.
We grow aromatic and medicinal plants which we have distilled locally into essential oil. These are lavender, lavandin, thyme, savoury and rosemary. We have beehives and collect honey from the bees and make different products with the bees wax and honey.
URGENT! We are hosting a meal in the lavender field for 100 guests as part of my son’s wedding weekend on 30 June and need three or four helpers to work with us to prepare and serve and then clear up after. It will be a beautiful event and lots of fun to be part of.
We also have an orchard of persimmons which we plan to dehydrate using our solar drying room which we are just putting the finishing touches to.
We are looking for help on the land as well as painting and decorating and small carpentry jobs.
We live in a beautiful area near a spectacular river gorge, medieval villages and only a short bus ride from Montpellier beyond which is the coast.
We’re looking for enthusiastic helpers as soon ... more inside

After volunteering in various farms in the world, I managed to convince my father accept about hosting volunteers and I`m really happy to start that new experience in our property. The farm is only 1hectare, sufficient for a family to grow veggies and care few animals for our own consumption. It`s about 10years that we didn`t do much on buildings and the priority will be renovate walls and roofs. I live in a mobile-home in the middle of the farm with dry toilet and solar shower but we`ll provide private rooms in the house for volunteers. There are 2bathrooms and all "normal" convenience in the house (even if I don`t think that`s normal to waste 5Liters of water at every flush... So, there are dry toilets outside, it will be up to you to use them)
I`ll be assisting volunteers, as my father doesn`t speak english. Hopefully you`ll speak some basics french to communicate with him. Don`t hesitate to write me for any further information.
See you soon!

Looking for someone or a couple to join us immediately, references would be an advantage.

We live in the centre of St Jean de Luz, walking distance to everything. We moved here in January, relocating all of Yves- Marie's Ceramic workshop, he is a ceramic artist, sculptor and painter. Its a big old house (with a big garden/park) which was the family house and in short we are 'babysitting' the place for the next 18 months.

Our day to day language is French, Jan is English, Yves-Marie is French.

We need help to re -establish Yves-Marie's workshop and organise it, tidy up, and prepare the clay, no experience in ceramics is necessary but would be useful. We are now working on the website to create an online gallery, so any web input would be appreciated too.

We need help in the garden as we have to look after the garden and at 2500m2 it needs quite a bit of work, this involves helping to trim hedges and clear. I also want to create a vegetable plot so need help there too... more inside

I live in a pretty village at the foot of the Alpilles, with a nice garden and a view of the hills. And cities like Saint Remy de Provence or Salon de Provence are 15/20 km away, the nearest sea is 35 km! And the beach I prefer is 1 hour drive.
There are many walks and nice excursions to do here.

I need help:
- Paint and coatings in my home, walls and ceilings
- Take care of organic permaculture garden, maintain, sow, plant, etc ... also help me to go for straw or manure for example
- Possibly ask tiling if you really have the skills.

I live part-time with my 5 year old daughter, and she will certainly want to play with you, and it can be a help for me when I have some work to do.

So, if you feel like it, I will gladly accept your help.
I also tell you that we eat vegetarian.

See you soon
Marie Hélène

We are an English family living on a former Breton cider farm set in 18 hectares, which is now our home with 5 gites for summer visitors.
We have 2 dogs.
We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and stunning beaches (20 beaches within 30 minutes of our home) as well as being 45 minutes away from the cities of Brest and Quimper.
We aim to offer our guests a slower pace, with time and opportunities to appreciate the simpler things in life.
In the grounds we have a kitchen garden, a swimming pool, a sandpit, various children's hideaways, a fairy glade and a small wood so there's plenty of opportunity for outdoor activity especially in the garde! We also need help with housekeeping and laundry and welcome helpers who are enthusiastic and easy going and enjoy working as part of a team.
At various times of the year we need help preparing the gîtes for our visitors - painting, repairs and cleaning, strimming, brush cutting, gardening and mowing. During the peak season weekends ... more inside

My name is Thierry, I am the owner of an old farm of the 19th century that I renovate since 2001. I opened 4 guest rooms in 2004. Furthermore, I am a former chef and I also make dinners for my guests on request.
I recently opened a large reception hall for events in an old barn, I occasionally receive artists, and organize weddings.
I would like to receive volunteers to help me renovate an old gate, help me finish the decoration of the bar, help me maintain the garden for weddings, and help me with wood for the winter.
The region of the Gorges of Aveyron is very interesting to visit. There are many castles and medieval villages.
