Lovely setting with easy going n happy hosts no kids but a super friendly, slightly demanding dog that loves playing and cuddles. If you miss your dog then Honey can be your best friend!
There is lots of walking tracks here both beach and bush. Two minute walk to beach and 5 minute walk to shops or jump on the mountain bike and go exploring! Lovely central location in town but close to fishing spots and amenities. It is very peaceful here generally.

I prefer practical, intuitive, tidy people, ideally a single person. I like social, friendly & outgoing types, a sense of humour is a must. A serious or moody person just won't fit!
I am restoring my caravan at the moment and need help with scrapping the old paint off and sanding it and other general repair jobs. I am looking for someone with experience in building a web page and to help me start up the computer side of starting a small business.
You will be given your own caravan for ac... more inside

I am a trained chef; speak fluent German(though i am a Kiwi),on a lifestyle block 20 minutes south of Dargaville township. The property is in the process of being developed in the most natural way possible. Shelter trees and a mixed orchard is already established; garden beds are in process. Beef are raised on pasture.Help with general maintenance is expected. No particular skills are required; a willing attitude is enough.
A separate sleepout with its own bathroom is available for helpers. A 4WD quad bike is available for trips along the beach track to the longest drivable beach in NZ.

Barbara and Matthias welcome you to Northland. We are a German couple and live on a 40 ha property with wonderful views over Bream Bay.
Several beaches (eg Waipu Cove and Langs Beach) are 15 min and next village 10 min by car.

Relaxed atmosphere with good bushwalks nearby.
We have travelled widely so have an understanding of the world of travelling. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian cooking.

We need help in our new orchard and around the garden as well as with our ducks, chooks and 2 dogs.

I need a couple of keen people (non smokers) to help with general garden and house cleaning. The deal is 2 hours work per day in exchange for accommodation, potatoes, rice, tea and coffee plus some vegetables growing in the garden. This place has comfy beds and a great hot shower and is surrounded by bush and private beaches. It is quiet and secluded. You're welcome to use the kayaks to explore the Coast. Prior to arriving you're best to do a food shop in the nearest town of Whangarei (30 min drive before my place). It is preferable that you have your own car.

Sorry I do not have an internet or wifi, so you'll need your own data.
This offer is only available to travellers who genuinely want to stay in a relaxed coastal environment. It is not available to desperate travellers hoping to save money.

If this deal sounds like you, please call or txt me or contact via my website.
James...Have a Fantastic Day.

Looking for relaxed and responsible helpers for our mixed farm in Northland that is a part beef farm, blueberry orchard and small vineyard. Work would involve picking and packing blueberries, weeding, gardening, painting and other odd jobs around the farm.

Accommodation is in a small self contained cottage away from the main farmhouse beside a stream which runs through the property. On days off enjoy exploring the hundreds of acres of native bush, with walks to waterfalls and sea views, and beautiful beaches on the Northland east coast are a short drive away.
WiFi is available although we have limited data.

Hi helpers! My name is Raewyn, my son Simon and I built up our Helpx program over the last few years and now we are back. My sister Debbie (a lovely lady), my husband Tom (a nice man) and I Raewyn are the remaining team and we can't wait to have more friendly faces around the place once again :D Please read the comments and especially of the people that stayed with Tom and I if you want to understand the culture of our gardens project. We love this project!

G'day travellers, Simon here! I used to live at the gardens with my friend Leigh and work with the helpers however, now my mum is well again I started working in CHCH. The helpers loved staying with Mum and Tom who were with us most days at the gardens whenever they could. Now you get to meet my lovely Aunty Debbie too she's cool. I hope I can meet some of you and if you are in Christchurch let me know let's meet.

Looking for one or two people to stay in our home over summer all of January to feed and look after our animals, while we are at the beach. In return for accommodation and food we would expect not only our animals to have someone around and be cared for but do some odd farm jobs spraying for weeds on the dairy farm mowing the lawns and other odd things a few hours a day etc.

Must be able to drive a car and preferably a 2 or 4 wheeled motorbike.

Must be able to cook and clean up as we would not be around to cook meals but happy to provide some food.

Must be reliable, caring to animals, no smoking inside, no drugs and limited alcohol.

We are close to beaches about a 10 min drive very nice town.

Arrival anytime from now is ok.

One of our guests described Pukeruru as 'a creative lab of life.' Our comprehensive studio complex and bush-clad environment is where we explore everything from the importance of creative process to the challenges of shaping a permaculture landscape. We like our guests to stay for at least one week to fully understand our philosophy and to ensure we share our culture and love of land and sea.
We are located at Langs Beach about 1.5 hours by car north of Auckland city. Langs is known as one of the best beaches in Aotearoa/NZ. After 5 years of development our place includes a well equipped workshop and private/guest accommodation for the studio and gallery, on a site about 5 mins bush walk from the beach. About 3000 native NZ trees and shrubs have been planted and more planting and development is ongoing. Accommodation is in comfortable cabins and permanent safari style tents with good facilities.
