We moved to our farm 3 years ago. It had been very neglected and we are in the early stages of restoring it. There are cattle agitsted here. We are growing 5000 garlic plants, a vegetable and herb plot, olive, fruit and nut trees plus small scale agroforestry and the beginnings of a native flower area.

We are in South Gippsland, 15 minutes drive from surf beaches. It is a stunningly beautiful area. We are 6 minutes from Korumburra town which has bus services daily to and from Melbourne. Aside from farm work we are both artists and I am a musician. My partner experiments with alternative technology. It's pretty interesting here. The accommodation is either 2 single beds inside the house or use of a caravan. We hope the people who come and help us will be happy and really benefit from learning from our work and enjoying the local area.

We need help with weeding, mulching, cutting grass, planting, propagating, picking fruit in season. We are small scale but the work is consta... more inside

I have a wonderful property within walking distance to train 10 minutes in the Yarra valley. I currently have two bedrooms available. I am a professional woman in my late 50s and two adult children 26 & 29 who call in and lots of nieces and nephews in their twenties. I require help with some painting and household maintenance gutters cleaned, lawns mowed. My home borders the Yarra valley wine growing area which offers seasonal work. I also have a house on the Mornington Peninsula walking distance to the beach that also require general house hold maintenance. I would take people to the beach for the weekend. Initially I am offering a week stay with the
option of extending. Helpers must be able to speak English. It is a non smoking house. I eat wholesome food so any dietary restrictions you would need to cater for yourself and take care of your own washing. I am looking for enthusiastic travellers. Must have own travel insurance and working holiday visa. Hours needed approximatel... more inside

We are young-at-heart retirees from the viticulture world. We love good food, wine, music and conversation. We now have a small (4 acre), rural property in the foothills of the Strathbogies [15 minutes to Yea and 25 minutes to Seymour].
We are primarily looking for experienced help with a couple of building projects and gardening. We need help to complete a masonry retaining wall, external stairs or ramp, garden and vineyard maintenance and landscaping.
We are interested in Permaculture and have planted a small vineyard and orchard, and we are just about to set up our wicking garden beds for veggies. You might like to help us do that :-).
As owner-builders, we have reached the stage where we can offer decent accommodation and food in return for 4 hours of work a day. We have just finished the downstairs, self-contained guest accommodation (see photos) so you should be quite comfortable. Help yourself breakfast and lunch, shared evening meal; we provide all the food. One rule -... more inside

Please note photos are not current to Brighton which is not directly on the water. This is on the to-do list. The old house pictured from Altona, however, is not too different from the new house in Brighton East. To keep it simple there are two properties where I or you may stay in Parkville, VIC and now a new house in Brighton East.

"Morrah Morrah" Small Central Parkville Guest House in need of help for looking after bedroom preparation for arriving guests and help with light cleaning, trash, kitchens, bathrooms, side projects et al.

We are setting up in Brighton East where we may also have guests.

I can also give you a contribution for groceries if you'd like to cook for more than one person.

For short stays there is no routine full time labor, rather chores might include weeding or mowing the lawn or washing the windows or even taking the bus to kmart to get weed killer if I've forgotten it or being here to welcome paying guests (e.g. through airbnb).

Our home is on 5 beautiful acres. It is currently being run as a BnB, you would have the entire house to yourself but we live nearby and are spending a lot of time working on the property.

The property has a country feel with a dam, sheep in the paddock, beautiful gardens, seasonal creek and views of Mt Buninyong. However it is only 15 minutes drive from Sovereign Hill or Ballarat. And two minutes drive or 20 minutes walk to the cafes of Buninyong.

Happy to host a single or couple.

The property is right on edge of awesome mountain bike tracks. We'd be happy to loan you a bike.

We're looking forward energetic helpers with a range of skills to help with gardening, maintenance, building, painting or minding our cute and fun 3-year-old boy and 6yo girl so that we can get on with some jobs. If you could only help with only one thing, such as, babysitting, that's still great and we would love your help.

No smoking please.

MARC & ALEJANDRA

We are Alejandra and Marc, a couple with complementary skills and abilities guided by their similar values and vocation.

Marc was born in the Catalan Pyrenees, in the land of the Ceretani, a branch of the Iberians. Alejandra was born in Entre Rios (between rivers), a province in center-east Argentina.

Nowadays, we live:
- part time in Australia, in the land of the Gunaikurnai, an aboriginal nation of the Australian South-east;
- part time in Argentina, in a land whose ancestors where the Comechingón, an Indigenous tribe of the center-west Argentina
- other locations of the world (mainly in the Southern Hemisphere)

These three places (Argentina, Australia and Catalonia) constitute three corners of Earth. This tells us that, alongside with the connection to our ancestral lands, we need to extend our arms to embrace as much diversity as possible; perhaps, by living between these locations, we are trying to embrace the whole planet.

Welcome to the Spa Centre of Australia a popular tourist area!

Single helper wanted for DIY/ handyman jobs/work with tools & small wood & metal work/arc welding repair jobs.

I am a retired older man with a well set up one acre permaculture hobby property in the quiet rural surrounds of Daylesford. Milking goats, chickens, ducks, guinea fowl and a cat share this space with me.

Vegetarian off-grid house

This is a rural area and would suit helpers seeking a quiet and peaceful setting. Helpers coming here need to have an interest in country off-grid living/sustainable living, permaculture.
