Hi! I'm looking for helpers who can help me running this milk bar in Junction village(1 hour to Melbourne city).
Only work two days a week as a cashier and you will get food & accommodation free. It's very easy to learn. Normally we are not busy you'll have a lot of time do your own things at living room. You can also try to find a part-time job nearby.
I have two dogs, one cat. I love cooking and fishing, you're welcome to diving with me on your day off.We always go traveling to other place like south Australia or Tasmania. And you have chance to eat lobster and abalone,or delicious Chinese food.
We hope that you’re a diligent girl who has working holiday visa.It will be better if you are good at editing videos.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me.
I look forward to hearing from you :)

Come and stay with us in our lovely little farm cottage and horse property, with quiet horses, menage and riding trails by the picturesque Kings Billabong National Park. The property is located very close to the Mighty Murray River and only 12 km from Mildura. The weather is beautiful all year round. We need a person or couple who is great with children and horses to help us with caring for my two daughters, driving them to and from school and dance classes. Feeding, exercising & grooming horses, chickens, general farm work, gardening, fencing and general house work. We have two queen size rooms and a granny flat, meals included. We prefer people committed to staying more than Three weeks to enable us to work on bigger projects. Local fruit picking work is also possible. Some Helpers choose to find seasonal work locally. In this event full board will be required. Mildura has over 350 festivals per year www.visitmildura.com.au The town is a magnificent holiday destination combin... more inside

We are looking for support to prepare for fire season by cleaning and decluttering our house and yard. We would like to develop some language skills on the side too. If you have an interest in nature, native birds and animals then this place will surprise and delight you. The beaches and surf in this region are amazing too. We are situated at the end of the Great Ocean Road, 60 kms south of Port Fairy. It would help to have a car. Looking forward to meeting you.

Hello!
Forget Melbourne come to Ballarat!!!!!!!!!!

My name is Penelope and I am a secondary school teacher and my husband works on a farm, we are both 31 years old. We have met many backpackers as my parents also do Help X (Host ID: 43674)& many have come to say "Hello" or a short stay with me. We live in the vibrant city of Ballarat where there is Lake Wendouree (pictured), lots of nightlife and cafes, bush walks, a wildlife park and Australian history relating to the Gold Rush.

Dave and I often visit the nearby Grampians and Great Ocean Road which I have shared some pictures of from when we have been.

Help required to paint, garden and update a few bits and pieces. We are currently both really busy and need to have people who are practical and can work independently.

In exchange we expect 5- 6 hours a day for each nights accomodation with food and usually 2 days off per week. We look forward to meeting you and helping you explore the wonderful area we live in!

Sustainable home seeking Helpers
For period Tuesday 3rd Dec to Sunday 8th Dec

Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

Dear helpers,

We are looking for people to take part in this unique exchange of food, music, art and eco-friendly living. Depending on the time of the year, your task may involve cooking, gardening, renovations, candel making and caring for our dog. If you have something artistic to add to the house please let us know.

We will provide you with healthy plant based meals and a "cosy hut" inside the house to sleep in. Our green approach means living without electricity and appliances. As a result our home is quiet and peaceful...a perfect place to learn some new skills and unwine from modernism.

Our sustainable approach includes growing our own fruit and vegetables as much as possible. We avoid plastic bags and use mainly recycled materials for the things we build. We aim to live with minimal destruction or harm to nature or animals.

We take 2 da... more inside

Hi, my name is Bronwyn and I live in the lovely, quiet hamlet of Glenlyon.

Glenlyon is just over one hour from Melbourne and 10 minutes from the tourist town of Daylesford where there are mineral springs, wineries etc.

My house is quite new and my land is half an acre in size (0.2 hectare). I would like help with planting, weeding, pruning, whipper snippering or spraying. Other work could include staining the deck (verandah) and a bit of cleaning and some maintenance work. You do not need to have any experience but need to be happy to learn how to do these things, and be strong enough to wheel a wheelbarrow. We work for about 4-6 hours per day. If you work quickly and thoroughly you will have more free time. If you work very slowly, you will work longer. There will be set jobs that need doing, so finishing the job is important.

I have, in the past, taken many first time HelpX helpers, but for now I prefer helpers with references.

I prefer helpers who are 26 years old o... more inside

Our family (with three children aged 18, 15 and 10) lives in beautiful Beechworth, an historic gold mining town near the border of Victoria and NSW. There are great cycle paths, spectacular sunsets and lovely spots to explore. We have a spare bike so you can get around independently.

Our home is on 10 peaceful acres just 3km from town. We have 2 cats, 2 dogs, 3 horses and lots of chickens. The horses love a brush, but they are not available for riding.

Accomodation while you stay with us is a queen sized bed in a private and unique bedroom.

Spring has arrived with beautiful weather, but our house is not well heated, so you will need warm clothes. We have lots of warm bedding.

We prefer helpx guests to stay for approximately one week. We love longer stays, but have to meet you first.

We make all our meals from whole foods. If you enjoy cooking, we love to have help in the kitchen!

We can utilise your skills whatever they are. We ask for approximately 5 hours a d... more inside
