This is a wilderness farm on the edge of World Heritage listed National Park in the Wet Tropics region of FNQ.
We have a native fruit orchard, a small beef cattle herd and two fun dogs.

We would like two singles or a couple, who can start in April to help with picking, planting and farm maintenance for 3 to 4 weeks approx.

Part of you daily work (4 hrs per day) is in return for accommodation and all meals. You will be paid for the additional hours and the full time you work can go towards a 2nd year visa if you are wanting that, but will not be the full 88 days, as we do not require workers for that long.

If you want to do some work, earn a bit of money, learn about living sustainably in the tropics and see amazing wildlife, this is the gig for you :)

Being a sustainable farm growing native species and surrounded by rainforest, we get lots of wildlife wandering through our orchards and paddocks, including cassowaries. There is a small river a short walk down the hill... more inside

I am looking for a peaceful, warm-hearted helper to welcome in to my home to help with various household and/or gardening work, depending on your interests. My family and I live in the beautiful Currumbin Valley (southern Gold Coast) surrounded by lush gardens and lots of wildlife - kangaroos outside your bedroom window. There is a beautiful creek and you will also have access to the community swimming pool and library. There are weekly meditation, yoga and qi gung classes held in the village.

We are a family with two young children and we try and fill our house with love, peace, warmth and joy. Any special talents you have such as musical instruments or circus tricks will be warmly welcomed and you will have a keen and receptive audience :-)

Normally I'd expect four hours work a day but I'm flexible in that you could do a full days' work and then have the next day off - I'm more interested in finding the right person to welcome in to my home, and then we can work something ... more inside

Our very friendly home is a lovely old traditional timber Queenslander full of character set on 1 and 1/2 acres of a bush block, high on a ridge. We are centrally located between the beach and the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

The nearby town of Nambour is on the train line linking Brisbane north to Cairns. We are about 1 to 1 and a half hours north of Brisbane by car.Train a little longer.

It's a very quiet and peaceful place, surrounded by bush and gardens with lots of bird life. Opposite is a bushland reserve with walking tracks to the nearby town.

The household is Buddhist orientated and lead healthy, creative and flexible lives.

Amongst other things we are interested in Art, Marimbas, Yoga, Meditating, Ayurvedic Massage and lifestyle, Enneagrams, Travelling, Writing, Social Justice, Permaculture and Sustainable Living.

We are social, love animals and enjoy going to the nearby beach for walks and swims and visiting the Hinterland towns.

We enjoy hosting and w... more inside

We live in a peaceful area in the heart of the Sunshine Coast and very handy to all of the wonderful attractions in the area. We are 12 minutes walk from the Landsborough train station and local buses. Australia Zoo is right on our doorstep as are the glass house mountains and local beaches.
We run a bed and breakfast. The house overlooks large trees with lots of wonderful birdlife.

If you’re looking for a placement on the 3rd of April please contact me! Characterful oldish large house 1km from beautiful Trinity Beach with great views. Has a big swimming pool and a tropical garden and is in need of maintenance and upgrading. Public bus goes 4 minutes walk from the house. I am looking for enthusiastic assistance, some skills would be awesome, but unskilled is fine. Tasks are varied, e.g. painting, fence upgrade, house cleaning, general gardening. Basic conversational English essential, or be prepared to teach me your language, and I'm slow! The place is old, and tasks will never run out! Flexible with when you work and would prefer a minimum of five work days (4-5 hrs/day 5 days/wk, weekends are yours), otherwise not really worth setting up for a job. One or two rooms available with a dedicated bathroom and well equipped kitchen etc. Im not much good at cooking but you won't starve! Or perhaps you can help? Unlimited fast internet, bicycle available. If ... more inside

We live in a high set beautiful old Queenslander that would love a couple who have some ability in painting, cleaning walls and perhaps some gardening.
We are a fun family of my husband and I and three polite children. Our home is very large with five generous bedrooms as well as a huge rumpus room with pool table and spacious lounge room upstairs and a tropical verandah overlooking the pool and gardens. We are situated between Cairns and the beautiful northern beaches.

We are within walking distance to a bus stop that can either take you into Cairns or to the beaches.

Hi,

Looking for anyone interested to help us establish gardens, give a hand fencing, help feeding animals (eg, poultry, pigs, working dogs or horses) or other station hand chores.

We are a family passionate about bush living,
I live with a permanent disability and hope to meet people who would be interested in staying for a week or so to help us with creating off grid life as we dream of self sustainability and get a great bush experience.

a cattle station held by an Indigenous traditional owner corporation located 3.5 hrs north of Cairns on the Mulligan Highway to Cooktown.

a bus does go past and we would be able to pick you up.

We are flexible as we have to work around seasons , school holidays and my school boys. :)

Although we are relatively remote, we encourage visitors to explore what the region has to offer and the large parcel of land we manage for other clan families that claim connection to country.
