Our place called Talyala Hills, is in the beautiful Southern Flinders Ranges, 2 1/2 hours from the capital of Adelaide. Bevan's family have worked the land west of Laura since the 1870's. We established Smith's Farmstay in 2000 and have many repeat guests who love the quiet and beautiful natural setting with massive gum trees, fantastic views and starry night skies like you'd never see in a city

We are a couple who enjoy getting to know people from other places.
We live in a quiet rural setting and have cropping land, sheep and a few cattle. Our bushland is now regenerating after recent bushfires.

We would like to host people who want to experience rural life in South Australia and are willing to learn. We would
want them to share our interest in people, and help build and create a warm, natural and family-friendly environment.

If you have skills in gardening, carpentry, painting, website design and creativity, please consider spending some time with us.

Milan loves to fish and we are happy to take you with us out on the boat.

We love the idea of having enthusiastic travellers through to lend a hand as they are always very friendly, easy going & love to see & try new things. Our oyster farm & its location will be a unique experience for you to see. Work includes helping load oysters into baskets, working on the barge picking up & off loading oysters, general maintenance including repairs & grading oysters in our factory using our automatic oyster grader. You need to be quite strong as loading baskets at high tide can be difficult. Accommodation in small shack on the beach or BYO. Food provided for you to cook, mixed diet. No children. NSI. Long stays will be negotiated after initial few days.

We own a acre property and we are presently making some improvements on the house and establishing our garden. We offer a detached bedroom and lounge, seperate from the main house as accommodation and an evening meal in exchange for general help around the property....(bathroom is shared in main house at the moment)
The property is approximately 60k from Adelaide City and unfortunately there is very little public transport available so having your own vehicle would be an advantage.
At the moment we are adding a kitchen and bathroom to the 2 rooms we already offer our helpers to stay in to make their stay more comfortable. We are presently lining and fitting out the kitchen so help is needed in this field.some plumbing or carpentry experience would be fabulous(first 3 photos show accommodation)
The other photos are areas available for our helpers to enjoy

This is a very small farm intending to offer open days to the public in the future.
We need help with looking after a small amount of livestock (chicken, milking goats, horses) as well as food production, gardening, home maintenance, firewood collecting, fence building, etc. We also have 5ha of land being re vegetated.
We are vegetarian and would prefer like minded.
Location is in the southern Adelaide Hills, with public transport fairly close by and the city only 1/2 hour drive.
Accommodation is private and self contained within main house.

Melrose is a small country town in the Mid North of SA in a wine region. The township is at the foot of Mt. Remarkable. Cycling, rough riding, bush walking and tourism are featured among farming land. I require general home help, cleaning and yard work. I'm looking for creative, artistic people who have a general range of handy skills. I can teach English. I'm looking for one or two young men or a travelling couple to help me out for a while please.I have four alpacas, a pony that needs handling, a pet sheep that thinks he's an alpaca, two silly little dogs and six chooks, one of which is a guinea fowl. I'm wanting general help around the place, any time from now until about September, that means any time in between. I'll get some photos up as soon as I can work out how to do it. Come on, this is a great community of young people. What's more, I'm a recently retired English language and literacy teacher. I'd like to improve my high school French but that's not essential. Check out t... more inside
