Hello,

We are a French family : Gwenola, Yotam and our 3 years old son Sabbath living in Costa Rica for 3 years ½.

We are creating our paradise in the mountains, reforesting pastures with a lot of fruit trees. We both have certification in permaculture and our goal is to create an edible forest. We also grow organic veggies.

We cook a lot, we become vegetarians. We make fermented food and drinks, bread, yogurt, cheese, mead etc...

We also like art, music, cinema, photography.

We live in a super quiet place but not isolated : we live between San Ramon (15 minutes drive) and la Fortuna (1h30). The bus stops at 5 minutes by walk. If you go in direction of la Fortuna at 15 minutes drive there are touristic activities like butterfly garden, bungee jumping, canopy tour...

We are now looking for a volunteer that can help us with SEO and online marketing to develop our Bed and Breakfast.

We can share with you our passion for cooking, we would love to share about music, ... more inside

Easten neighbor to farm is Cloudbridge reforestation project with many trails to explore, Northern frontage of farm is Chirripo river with incredible old growth forest on opposite side of river and to the west of the farm down the hill about 1km is the village of San Gerardo, The farm is close to the end of the road so rather remote. Not a party place but nice place to come for individuals, couples or families who enjoy peace, quite and natures bounty.

Our goal here is to preserve and respect the environment. As a result of this, we are vegetarian and we believe in the importance of recycling, reusing and organic farming. We also want to share our resources and knowledge with our community.

Come and visit our plantation where you will find about 90 types of fruit trees and other trees, 10 types of bamboo, cacao to make your own chocolate, flowers and 2 creeks to refresh in when it gets too hot! Here you will be immersed in a typical Caribbean Costa Rican village.

We are on the move! We have moved our horses, dogs, parrots and cats with us to a beautiful place just 2 km from our favorite beaches on the Caribbean coast.
As a certified Yoga instructor, certified Metaphsyical Energy healer, horse rider & trainer, Jin Shin Jyutsu practicioner and also interested in many other fields, I have a passion for horses, healing & yoga, and they work in perfect harmony together. Which is why I have created retreats just for this. Yoga with horses and Healing with horses. Its an amazing experience to live with these wonderful spirits, such as the horse.
We now live up in the mountains, in the pure jungle, surrounded by monkeys, toucans, parrots, owls, eagles, wild cats and oh so much more. Peaceful yet full of life. Only a 30 minute walk, 15 minute bike ride or 7 minute car ride and we are on the beach near the little local villages of Cocles, Manzanillo and Puerto Viejo. Here everything is to the beat of Reggae and Calypso, where surfers, artists both l... more inside

Our guests are a mix of backpackers and more upscale travelers, old and young who all have one thing in common: they love outdoor adventures.

As a volunteer you will learn about Costarican culture. You will also have the opportunity to get invited by our local guides to join them on their tours for free, like white water rafting, rappelling down thermal waterfalls, hik... more inside
