I live in a beautiful part of the Coromandel, near a small village called Kuaotunu, which is only 5 minutes to some lovely beaches. My home is surrounded by bush with a beautiful stream going through it, that generates the power I need. I also have solar power and solar hot water heating.
We grow our own veggies and have cows and a cat and three gold fish.
The land has a hill that gives awesome views out to the ocean and lovely bush walks . One of the things we do is collect sea food to make yummy meals.
i have a self contained chalet, with a log fire. We do all sorts of jobs like gardening, building projects and what ever comes along. If you have a special skill that could help me in my home or property, let me know.... and of course socializing, conversation and music with a nice glass of wine, all in a relaxed way of life. If you are a happy, talkative type person feel free to get in touch:-) cheers tony

Summer at the beach! Short or Long term opportunity..

We run a kayaking businesses at Hahei Beach on the Coromandel Peninsula.

Part of the kayak tours includes a tea and coffee break at Cathedral Cove. At the end of the day we need all the dirty dishes and used picnic seats to be washed and prepared for the next day.

The other role is housekeeping, cleaning and preparing a holiday home for guests. There are other cleaning and garden jobs that need to be done from time to time.

The help required would be an average of 2 hours per day per person, usually in the evenings.

Accommodation is provided, it is a clean private room at our staff accommodation. Internet and power are included.

You need to be available for AT LEAST TWO WEEKS but if it goes well then the longer you can stay the better (our last helpers ended up staying 3 months!). This has proven to be a great opportunity to stay in this beautiful town where accomodation is scarce and expensive.

I have a small block of land with a large vege garden and small orchard. I need a couple of willing helpers to help me with some physical work -gardening, mowing, mulching, clearing long grass In exchange for 4-5 hours a day I could provide accomodation and food. Ideally I would like someone for a few days work at the moment. I would like 2 or 3 people. I live close to Whangapoua Beach and New Chums Beach which helpers may like to explore in their time here. I look forward to meeting some travellers. Would be good if you have your own transport.

I live in Ruamahunga Bay on the beautiful Thames Coast, around 15-20 minutes drive from Thames township. I have a family of 3 cats and one dog. My house is not right on the beach, but is up a quiet little side road and only 1 minute walk down to the beach. There`s a lovely rocky stream at the bottom of the garden.

At the moment I really need some help with weeding and clearing in the garden. Its not hard physical work, maybe a little bit of digging but not much, mostly just weeding.

I am looking for someone to come and stay for a few days, and they could have the little self contained caravan in the bottom of the garden. For this exchange I would like it if the person/people worked 2 hours a day in exchange for the accommodation and teas, coffees. They would need to provide their own meals. The caravan has a stove and a fridge, an electric jug, a toaster, pots and pans and plates etc, and a little dining table.

If you wanted to you could do one or two longer days of work... more inside
