Adventure, Kiwi-style!

We are 3 women, 3 dogs,24 ducks, a goat named Winifred, and several large gardens,in rural Waihi. We are at the very beginning of our project - building a lifestyle/farm which is as natural and self-sufficient as possible. We are off-grid, with some solar power. We have composting toilets. This is an opportunity to experience true kiwi Glamping!

We are:
-building and renovating 'tiny house' cabins
-building animal shelters
-creating and building gardens.

We are looking for helpers who are honest, trustworthy, clean, reliable and willing. Must definitely be kind, friendly, tolerant, nice people, and be very sensible around animals, especially dogs. You also must be team-players.

You must be able to follow instructions! Please follow this very simple instruction -
make sure you have a photograph on your profile....!!
Applications with no photograph will be ignored.

No party-people.

** Update : We have availability from September 24th **

We are a young couple (from New Zealand and Germany) looking for help (either 1 x or 2 x people happy to share a room) with general landscaping (we are repairing the garden and orchard after the flood - so a green thumb would be practical!), and some light building work - experience would be great but we are also happy to teach new skills to repair the flood damage we had.

4-5 hours work each day in exchange you will have a warm, private sleepout with bathroom and kitchenette, 3 x meals a day (we love to cook) and right on the beach.

Go for hikes, use our kayak, go fishing - you can even bring your own kitesurfing gear.

We have travelled a lot ourselves, and have lived in Europe and Australia. We enjoy hosting, great music, wine and fantastic food.

Minimum stay : 4 days - own car not essential, we can pick you up from Thames or Auckland.

Location: Thames Coast

Hi! I'm Jen, an easy going (but hard working) individual managing a craft brewery :)

I live very close to the brewery and there is always something to be done around the site or at home. At the moment, the work is mostly gardening and odd jobs around the property. I also have a dog who is happy and friendly so you will need to like dogs :)

I ask for 3 hours each a day (6 hours every second day) in exchange for Board and we share cooking dinner and food (like a sharehouse)- when you do the hours is flexible depending on weather and activities.

Currently looking for reliable, friendly and fast learning chefs and summer staff for paid work during our busy summer season (Dec - Feb). If you are interested in all things beer and food - let me know!

Look forward to hearing from you!

I live in a beautiful part of the Coromandel, near a small village called Kuaotunu which is only 5 minutes to some lovely beaches. My home is surrounded by bush with a beautiful stream going through it, that generates the power I need. I also have solar power and solar hot water heating.
We grow our own vegies and have cows and a cat and three gold fish.
The land has a hill that gives awesome views out to the ocean and lovely bush walks . One of the things we do is collect sea food to make yummy meals.
i have a self contained chalet, with a log fire. Some meals may be shared and for work...I ask a few hours each day. We do all sorts of jobs like gardening, building projects and what ever comes along. If you have a special skill that could help me in my home or property, let me know.... and of course socializing, conversation and music with a nice glass of wine, all in a relaxed way of life. If you are a happy, talkative type person feel free to get in touch:-) cheers tony
