Kia ora, we're looking for some help with some "getting ready for Summer" jobs around the place. We have space for a friendly easy going twosome, either a couple or two friends travelling together, or someone travelling by themselves who would like to stay with a family. No experience is necessary as we are happy to show you how to do new things and will often be working alongside you.

There is also the possibility of full time paid work for a local company(appropriate visa necessary) if desired .

Ideally you will have your own transport in order to maximise your time off and make the best of your stay with us, although, if you're happy to hang out at home or catch the bus around town, then a car is not necessary.

You will have a large room with it's own bathroom just a 1 minute walk from the main house. We have reasonable access to internet. There will be plenty of time off and good food.

Our place is located 25 mins from Tauranga and 35 mins from Rotorua. We are... more inside

We have a kiwifruit and Avocado orchard 7 km from Tauranga. However it is our large garden we would require help tidying up and improving the grass paddocks where we have recently had pinetrees milled. We have a wide range of tasks to choose from. Helpers ideally would require their own transport to travel to the large number of great places to visit within an hour. Such as Rotorua and it`s lakes, Hobbiton and some great walks and beaches.

We running an automotive country workshop where we fix and service cars, 4WDs, trailers, tractors and all sorts of machinery. In our spare time we look after our little farm, some sheep, some cattle, a couple of pigs and bees. And we are always in need of a couple of helpful hands to support us.
Oh man and we love to get to know different cultures and people.
We grow and eat our own meat, fruit and vegetables. Gustav also brews his own beer and makes wine and cider. The brewing season has started again and there's cider, wine and various beers to taste.
Our pig Sophie just had her babies, really exciting to watch them and and it is lambing time so there is a lot of cuteness running around our house. I also have to care for a lamb, which is a triplet, so it is raised on the bottle because his mum has only teats for two. His name is Lamborghini :D.
A mature, non-smoking, self-organized person, preferable not a vegetarian, to give us a hand with house and land, would fit best int... more inside

Update 18th September 2018
Spring is in the air, and everything in the garden and paddocks is shooting up including weeds! If you would like to spend lots of time in the fresh air and help us make our gardens and grounds beautiful again, please get in touch!

Please note: we do not need any child minders as there are no children here!
Our vision for this property is to create a beautiful homely and welcoming, accessible bed and breakfast with an organic, bio-dynamic, permaculture surrounding landscape that is a pleasure to the eye as well as putting healthy food on the table.

We expect 3-5 hours work equivalent daily for board and lodging, and 2 days off in 7. As we are rural, you may find it easier if you have your own vehicle.

Hello

I've got some jobs round the house that need doing, splitting and stacking firewood, waterblasting etc. Also im building a tiny house which I could do with some with.

We live out at Okere Falls on Lake Rotoiti – There’s me, my wife, 2 kids a greyhound and a cat. We’re vegetarian but don’t mind if you are not (we just won’t cook it for you).

Okere Falls is 15mins out of Rotorua but we go into Rotorua most days. Just down the road is the famous Okere Falls store and beer garden so you are not stranded in the middle of nowhere. Nearby is the world famous Kaituna River (if you are into white water kayaking), there is the lake across the road of course, there are the Manipirau Hot Pools (across the lake) and in town are the also world famous Whakarewarewa mtb trials if you are into that (I am).

Need someone strong and motivated and with common sense. Reasonable English would be great too and non-smokers preferred.

Cheers

Stefan and Nic
