Hello,

I am not currently looking for helpers.

I am Shelley, a working mum, and I live with my cheeky little 14 month old boy, and two boarders in urban Masterton. I have done a bit of travelling myself, and look forward to the opportunity to welcome travelers into my home as others have done for me.

I can offer a room in my house, and use of a shared bathroom, and unlimited wifi. There is a bicycle available and possibly a car (for someone who can drive a manual and has the relevant licence). However, I am happy to collect helpers from the train station, so no self-transport is required.

The environment here would suit a younger person. In our house we have a fun and social environment.

In return for accommodation/food, I would expect 2-4 hours work a day however I am flexible with sightseeing and travel plans. There is always plenty to be done here, including gardening, cleaning, cooking, and general housework.

Please note this is a drug-free property, althoug... more inside

Spring is here and we have got space for 1 female helper to help with everyday tasks (e.g. spring cleaning, cooking, looking after the kid(s)) and help with garden work.
You should have some experience and we'd like a 10 days minimum stay.

Jobs are a mixed and weather dependent - gardening (e.g. weeding, watering, tidy up jobs, odd jobs & projects), daily family life & household tasks (e.g. dishes, cleaning, help with cooking & washing), feeding animals/pets and looking after the kids.

We are a Kiwi-German family with 3 children (7, 10 and & 4 yrs old) and live in the beautiful Wairarapa region. We live on a sheep & beef farm about 3kms from the scenic Tora coast. We have got cats, rabbits, dogs, chickens, honey bees and on the farm are lots of sheep & cattle (of course). There is also an opportunity for horse riding if you've got experience.

We'd like ~4-5 hours of help a day in exchange for food and accommodation in our family home.

Hello! Lambing and Calving Help!

We are a married couple in our mid-thirties. Anna is expecting our first child in September so we are looking for extra help over lambing and calving to ease the workload.

Jobs would include feeding and caring for orphan lambs, and possibly calves. Assisting with other lambing duties such as bringing ewes back to the shed in the quad bike trailer. Other jobs would involve feeding farm animals such as our free-range pigs and piglets, chickens, and cows etc. For a couple, there are also other tasks available such as in the flower and vegetable garden, possibly some small interior painting jobs, among other things. We have 300 Sheep and 80 Cattle, plus the pets!

We have had 2 Helpx experiences and both have been very enjoyable. We would be needing someone(s) from mid July until the end of August with the option of staying on until mid to late September.

We would like a friendly individual or couple with a good sense of h... more inside
