We are looking for help around our tiny vineyard and parklike garden with a wetlands and when the weather isnt nice there is plenty of cleaning up in our sheds!
I have had helpx and wooffers over many years and have loved the fun we have had. Many coming back and me travelling the world and catching up with some of them.

I have new accomadation for my helpers which would suit a couple or friends who don't mind sharing together a new "tiny home".

If you have chainsaw skills too that would be great!. :)

Hi

We are a semi-retired couple living close to Greytown in the Wairarapa. We have a modern house (double glazing, solar water heating, wood fires) on 2.2 hectares. We have our own hens and the neighbours’ sheep, and a large vegetable garden and orchard. We are NOT vegetarian or organic though we try to be conservationists. We have a pizza oven which we enjoy lighting up for visitors, and a spa pool.

We are halfway between Woodside railway station (one hour from Wellington) and Greytown – walking distance into the town. We can collect you from the train or bus in Greytown if you do not have your own transport.

We have a variety of accommodation to offer, in the main house or, if preferred, in a self-contained separate building. We can accommodate 1 to 2 helpers at a time for one week at a time and most work will be outside physical work, such as setting up and maintaining gardens, grounds, cutting firewood, etc. If we run out of odd jobs we may ask you to help on t... more inside

We are situated in the picturesque Pohangina Valley on a 10 acres lifestyle block. This is about 25 kms (25 mins) from Palmerston North. We can arrange for you to be picked up from Palmerston North if you don't have your own transport.

Our home is next to a river which is great for swimming and fishing. Great place to be in summer. We are also close to several walks but you will need transport to get to them.

We mostly have a furry family consisting of 2 dogs (inside), 4 cats, 1 goat, sheep, cows, Sophie the calf, chickens and ducks.

You must like animals, as most of ours are pets and love attention. The dogs and cats are allowed inside and will sit in the couch.

There is a variety of things that we need help with, gardening, painting, firewood and general chores around the property. Included in this would be caring for the animals. Sophie the calf loves to be brushed as does Lulu the goat.

Helpers need to have some get up and go and be able to work alone. We... more inside

Hi, We live about 20mins south of Palmerston North and about one and a half hours drive North of Wellington.
We're in a beautiful rural area with breath taking views, fresh air and lead a wonderfully simple and relaxed lifestyle.
We have a busy dog Pixie, a very casual cat Bella, friendly pet lambs Muz and Blizard and some grazing stock. Well travelled and love international visitors in our home to broaden our children's cultural experiences and develop their desire to see this beautiful world.
We enjoy cooking, baking, entertaining. We eat most meals from off the farm, vegetable garden and mostly home-made. Our interests as a family are travel, thrift shopping, up cycling, sewing, designing, art, a wide range of sports, movies and heading out to the nearby beach house to relax.
We're offering a Help Exchange for accommodation and all meals for help with jobs around the house and farm. Weekends free and very happy to arrange times that suit everyone.
We have a single room avail... more inside

We have space NOW, as our booked helpers changed their minds.

We need help with cleaning, gardening, and some farmwork.

We are located in a beautiful private valley in the Wairarapa. 1.5 hours from both Wellington and Palmerston North

I am building up my soap (savon/zeep/seife/jabon) and skincare business and while you are here I can teach you how to make simple soap and some basic balms/salves to take away with you. Check out my business here www.oldschoolsoap.co.nz

We provide good food (Breakfast/Lunch/Snacks) and delicious hot evening meals. We love food and use good quality fresh ingredients and I make my own whole grain bread.

If you can cook, I would be very excited as I get a bit bored with my own recipes and would like to learn some traditional dishes.

Helper accommodation is separate to the house in a historic cheese curing building (insulated and with a good heater) that also holds my soap workshop.

This is not motel quality accommodation, your 1st ... more inside

We were Helpers in 2014 around Europe and UK, staying with families and making life long friendships. So we are now hosts, and especially welcome families with children to share our lovely part of the world. Easy and fun helping, mostly gardening and outdoors, some indoors on wet days.
