I am taking on helpers all year.
The helpers are asked to help four hours for every night they are staying here. Some of the helpers will have the opportunity to come with me on Saturdays to the markets and help me sell local produce and for this they will get a day off during the week.

I live on a 4ha orchard on which I am growing plums, strawberries, garlic, feijoas and also vegetables for the local market. So The helpers are assisting mainly with weeding, picking and pruning.

The work is mainly outside, sometimes it`s wet and it is important that you can bring wet weather gear. I will provide gumboots and gloves if needed. The work is in general quiet easy but can also be physical, so I need people that don`t mind getting their hands dirty. I am quiet happy to put your washing through the whashing machine with no charge.

Vegetarians are welcome here but sorry no vegans. I will supply you with all basic things you need for your breakfast, lunch or dinner. Also l... more inside

Tena koutou katoa!
Bonjour a tous!
Hullo everyone!

#Warning# ;-)
We enjoy working hard and you will need to as well. We like to host people who are interested in our way of life. We do most things by hand, even if it takes a while sometimes!

We CURRENTLY have lots of fencing and some building work to do. We are looking for help through spring and summer with gardening and turning trees into firewood.
There will be some orchard maintenance too as well as the usual stuff we try to do!
Experience with a chainsaw would be great, but not essential.

Cooking is on a wood stove, we have a solar panel, no machinery other than a chainsaw, no internet, cellphone reception is limited, no washing machine, no flush toilet. So be warned, it's not everyone's cup of tea! If that sounds okay, read on...
