We live on a peninsula on the stunning Waimea Estuary with views over the water & mountains.

Now that itís spring we are looking for help with a variety of projects on our property, including building, landscaping, painting, firewood, gardening & cooking. We are revegetating the land in native trees. We would prefer helpers with plenty of initiative as we both work during the week.

We look to having helpers to stay initially for a week with the option to extend if we all get along and there's still things to be done.

You would be staying with Andrew, Christine & Greta. We have a crazy cat, a spectacularly cute dog, chooks, sheep & cattle. We have travelled extensively and enjoy meeting people from other countries. Andrew speaks Spanish.

Mapua is 10 minutes drive, Richmond 10 minutes, Nelson 20 minutes & Abel Tasman Park 40 minutes. There is no bus service near the house however Andrew or Christine are driving to & from Nelson each week day.

Accomodation is in a bedro... more inside

Hi, I have occasional help needed from working on our native tree planting projects, vege garden, vineyard work or some cleaning around the house.

I am about 45 mins drive from Nelson or 30 mins from Motueka. 15 mins to Upper Moutere shops.

The house is off grid. We have solar power and there is mobile phone reception here.

The house is open plan living so sleeping in a tent or campervan is a good private option :)

Happy to supply dinner and breakfast but just accommodation is fine also.

Kia ora, helpx-ers!
We are currently looking for fit, animal-loving helpers who could help out on our small orchard block in Mahana, (between Nelson and the beautiful Kahurangi National park). Ideally you would have skills and experience in things like painting and decorating, pruning apple trees, fencing or building/carpentry/joinery experience, but just let us know what skills you have because there are always a range of jobs to be done!

We are looking for relaxed, independent guests, who don't mind doing some cooking for themselves (although we would love to invite you to share a few meals with us).

We offer accommodation in either a small self-contained flat or a house bus (both have large double beds, power and cooking facilities, toilet & shower).

Ideally you would have your own transport, although we can lend you bicycles to explore the beautiful Moutere hills and beach-side Mapua, and we travel in and out of town daily and are happy to help with any requirement... more inside
