Hi
We are an older couple, but young at heart
We have 2 small dogs, 5 chocks, some
sheep/no lambs at present and we live 10km from Hokitika, own transport preferred, but not essential. It is important if you are thinking of joining us to let us know in advance so I can send you directions as we are a little hard to find.

Our block of land is in need of a tidy up, e.g. some help with fencing, collecting firewood, taming the gorse, preparation for painting the house, gardening also some indoor work when the weather is bad.

We are looking for happy positive people to help get our land tamed. The hours of work and meals will be negotiable. You will have a separate bedroom in our home which has a king sized bed, this can be changed to 2 singles, also a room with a queen sized bed. There is a river on the boundary which is good for kayaking

The West Coast has fantastic lakes, bike trails, bush walks, beaches and rivers. Hokitika is a small tourist town where there is a glo... more inside

Hi Everyone,
Me and my two children aged 8 and 10 are living on a lifestyle property overlooking the sea.
Between running my own hairdressing salon, everyday life, gardens, tunnelhouse, orchard and berries there is always plenty to do around here. We need keen independent workers to help us with maintaining the gardens, planting trees etc aswell as helping out around the house.
So if you like family living, a little crazyness, exploring our wonderful beaches and bush walks, swimming in the river or surfing in the sea, we would love to hear from you.
I would like you to work for about 4 hours a day or 2h for just accomodation.
Accomodation is a double bed in a separate sleepout with toilet facilities.
Karamea is a quiet but beautiful place with lots of outdoor stuff to do like: fishing, biking, surfing tramping etc.

We have a small remote house on a family run Hereford cattle farm, situated just outside Bruce Bay in the Mahitahi valley.
living with us is a couple of cats, a dog named Gin, the good girl on the kayak, as well as a goat called Fin.
We are generally looking for help with gardening, painting and cleaning around the house. but there` always heaps of farmwork to be done! Which could include horse riding at times.

There is everything to do for the outdoor person; fishing, hunting, kayaking (got those), diving, tramping, horseriding, hillclimbing etc. is in our backyard.
We would like people to stay at least 2 weeks to get to know our area.
I also have a contracting business with diggers and trucks, so any experience with machinery would be a bonus!

HI at present we have a full house for the foreseeable future due to lock down. Because we are in a remote area with no shop's we can only provide for a few people, we have 4 backpackers as of today and this will stretch our sup... more inside

Time out to write a book, paint or into music, all without interruption. Cycle the West Coast Wilderness Trail or drive to town when ever you want.

Hello! We are a family of six located in the gorgeous Maruia Valley in the South Island of NZ. My husband Matt runs our grazing farm, I assist and also care for our four children. 10, 5, 3 and 16 months.

We are two hours from Nelson and 3 hours from Chch on the main inland highway which runs through the Island. Also 1.5 - 2 hours from the rugged West Coast of the South Island. The perfect stepping stone on your journey.

Close by are many beautiful walks, hot pools, rivers, mountains and native forests.

We are a grazing farm which means we care for young dairy cows from about 3 months of age until 18 months when they return back to their original farm. Tasks could possibly include - gardening, weed spraying, painting, animal care (chickens, dogs) helping with the children and housework, assisting Matt with stock feeding and different things when they arise also dependent on the skills you bring!

We would love for you to cook us a traditional meal from where you are f... more inside
