I have a waterfront cafe/restaurant where you will be working approximately 4 to 5 hours a day 4 or 5 days a week with week ends off.
The job is simplistic for those who are inexperienced and consists mainly of helping the chef, washing dishes. waiting on tables, for those more confident and who are proficient in English there can be some serving and counter food preparation if you so desire.
In all cases you are an extra and the staff love this as there is less work for them. All the transport to and from the cafe is provided and the cafe is 3 K from the CBD.
I live in a modern 4 bedroom house in Werribee, where workers have their own room and toilet. I have free WIFI. I live 500m from the station, where a train runs to Melbourne every 20 min, 22 hrs a day.

About 4 times a year I go to Ųutback" Australia where I legally hunt and shoot feral animals and these trips last for about 8 days, if desirous and suitable helpers can accompany for no charge but this is entirely ... more inside

Beautiful beaches along Waratah Bay such as Shallow Inlet, Sandy Point, Waratah, Walkerville and Cape Liptrap.
Also,Tarra Bulga Nat.Park. Known for its giant Ash trees, beautiful fern gullies and ancient Myrtle Beeches, is only a short drive.

Our property is located in dairy farming country on a hillside that overlooks Wilson's Promontory National Park. The closest village is Fish Creek - a 10 minute car ride. We can meet you at the bus in Fish Creek. We have a large garden and require help with landscaping and gardening as well as house maintenance. If you have a car, we are 15 minutes drive from fabulous beaches and hiking country. We sometimes have a separate loft available, above the carport and removed from the main house for occasional visitor accommodation giving visitors more privacy. Rosemary is a Dutch speaker with an understanding of French so welcomes Dutch and French helpers in particular although all nationalities welcome but smokers discouraged. Roger is a retired academic (mathematician) and Rosemary is a retired university exchange program manager. We value meeting enthusiastic, energetic helpers who like to share their stories and experience around the dinner table. The best helpers for us are those who... more inside

Welcome HelpX Travellers!!!

I am a nurse living on my own 8 ac property at Lal Lal near Ballarat. I train and compete horses for Eventing. I am always busy working, riding, coaching and competing and would love some help around the place and also appreciate the company!!

I am an easy going, fun loving person who enjoys meeting new people. I have a very friendly little dog and a giant orange cat who you cant help but like! I have 4 horses on the property at the moment and I`m also involved in breeding and breaking horses in conjunction with my family in Tasmania.

I have previously lived in lots of share houses as a student and am easy to live with, pretty good cook (I love my food) and keep the house clean and tidy!

The house is a cute little 2 bedroom cottage with wifi. The spare room has a double bed so I am happy to take singles or couples. The property is 20 mins from Ballarat, 75mins from Melbourne and 45 mins from Geelong with a bus service 150m from the gate. I... more inside

We are a 28yo couple, our 4 year old daughter, a 10 year old dog, and our newest family member - Cat (yet to be named ;)) We live in a leafy suburb of Melbourne and are looking for a couple or a single female to do some light chores and child care for our daughter, 3 days per week, for the month of September. The room we have is quite large, which means you will have your own space to lounge with a private bathroom and toilet. Childcare experience is a must and we would ideally like people to stay with us for around 3 weeks (so our daughter has time to adapt). We regularly camp in the beautiful country of Victoria. We love cooking, making music and watching many of the live shows throughout our city. We are 40 minutes drive from Melbourne CBD and around 50 minutes to the beaches of Mornington Peninsula. We have been helpers through this site and honestly didn't have a great experience, so enjoy taking the opportunity to give a good experience to anybody we meet through HelpX.
