We are a retired couple & have a fairly large garden that requires weeding, pruning, hedge clipping and general maintenance.
Our house is large with a bedroom & bathroom for helpers either single or double beds
Work would entail mainly outdoor work, watering, weeding, cutting back plants, hedge pruning and general gardening work.
You do not need any special skills but may be asked to climb a ladder to work
We have had lots of young people live & work with us over the past 20 years & still keep in touch with many of them. We live in an interesting area with beaches, vineyards & walking tracks within 5 kms, Kangaroos are not quite in our backyard but not far away. 5 kms from our house there are good swimming beaches in Port Phillip Bay.
We have bikes you can borrow to explore the area. We are vegetarian but eat fish so are happy to provide you with healthy meals. Work is usually 4 hours a day with two days off
Although we only speak English we are happy to help others to... more inside

We are a small organic veggie farm, producing a range of veggies on 1000m2 and supplying the local community via the farm gate, farmers market, and local box scheme.

We need occasional help through the busy spring-summer-autumn period especially, jobs will include day to day weeding and picking.

You will have a self-contained accommodation, with a solar camp shower, composting toilet, and outdoor camp kitchen. You have a small shack with two indoor rooms which have fly-screen, and are clean and tidy. The rooms are no-shoes and no-smoking. There is a nice double bed waiting for you, with nice fresh sheets. The shack is set beside a billabong (where you can swim when it gets hot), amongst tall gum trees. It is a very private space, nestled in the back of the property.

It can start to get quite cold in May and June, so we don't recommend a winter stay unless you are strong for the cold!

We have sheep on the property, and a visiting dog (Charlie, who comes from Mum's place... more inside

We are a semi retired couple, enjoying life on our 2.5acres. We have a dog (Shadow), one precious cat (Puss) and 15 chickens and a rooster..
Serena has planted lots of trees and shrubs, a nice vegetable garden, but it's all getting out of hand!
We'd like someone to assist us with carting mulch, cutting back trees and shrubs, and general garden maintenance jobs. We ask for 3 hours/day (for a couple) or 4 hours/day (single person) in return for full board and lodging (either in a caravan on site, a Queen bed in Serena's shed or in-house, depending on availability).
Essential you have your own transport since we're 7km from nearest town.
Unfortunately due to Covid-19 we can't take anyone at the moment!

***We are not hosting at the moment, sorry! We would love to help and support some travellers in need but due to Covid-19 our financial situation does not allow us to do so. Hope you guys can find help somewhere else and stay safe!***

Hello! We are Valentina & Andrea, an Italian couple in their 30s looking for helpers in the Macedon Ranges area. We moved to this part of Victoria a few months ago to follow our dream and open a plant based café in Kyneton where we work 6 days a week and we spend most of the day.
Kyneton is a lovely town about 1h drive from Melbourne and really well serviced with a train station and coaches, supermarkets, farmer markets, gin distillery, shops and everything you need! However, we live in a beautiful solid cosy wooden house in Bullarto, about 20min drive from Kyneton and 10 to Daylesford (famous for the mineral springs).

We are now in need of one person or a couple to live with us and help us finishing our projects, sort out and clean the house ... more inside

We are a well travelled couple with a delightful six year old daughter and have lived abroad, spending many years in Southeast Asia. We are now resident near the beach in Mount Martha on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula and would welcome some help with gardening, fruit tree pruning, lawn mowing and housework. We are seeking four hours a day, (six days a week) in exchange for delicious food and accommodation. We can cater for some food allergies including coeliacs and lactose intolerant. Due to Covid-19, we are not taking people at this time.

No smoking in the house but acceptable outside. We enjoy cooking and food and we look forward to cross cultural exchanges. We can speak some Vietnamese (reasonable), Indonesian (basic), Cambodian (basic) and a little French (basic) and would love the exposure to new languages and cultures for our daughter who studies French at school.

We are about 2km from the beach (quick cycle), 10 mins walk to a large shopping centre and have bicycle... more inside
