We live in a beautiful corner of Queensland, near the New South Wales border, in a scenic valley surrounded by mountains, with national parks and water falls nearby. We have a small cattle property (cows and calves) with two cottages rented out for short stays for guests. We are about 2 hours from Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

We enjoy welcoming people from other cultures to our home. We have a close family and our helpers often become like extended family to us. We have a lot of family activities which we like you to join in with. Most of the family is musical and we have a piano, keyboard and guitar which you are welcome to use.

We need occasional help with cattle (mustering, vaccinating etc) fencing, perhaps painting, gardening, cleaning cottages etc. We use quad bikes to muster our cattle and a tractor for other farm use. I can show you how to drive a tractor if you have never used one.

We will welcome you as family and hope you will join us in our family activities. ... more inside

We have a beautiful 80 acre farm on the banks of a lovely river. We are currently focusing on moving from ‘self-sufficient’ to hopefully making the farm into more of a business (while also maintaining our organic, regenerative ethics). We have a big vegetable garden, fruit trees and an amazing river that is good for swimming (no crocs). We are in the beginning of adding a 5 acre syntropic orchard, a small perennial market garden, a commercial greenhouse and a small cash-crop of vanilla. If these projects interest you, please get in touch!

Our daughters are 2.5years old, and 4 months old. They are lovely, grounded girls, however combining two kids with a busy farm and animals is sometimes chaos! Marc’s dad lives in a converted barn on the farm, and speaks German (and English). We have several dairy goats, a small herd of dairy/miniature beef cattle, 3 untrained horses, 4 dogs, and chickens, ducks and geese.

We are looking for people to help with the day-to-day running of the ... more inside
