Sorry, full for now. Not taking any new applications at the moment.

with the new medical and lockdown situations, we will consider a couple who can share a room and a bed, or perhaps a suitable single. You will need to be in Queensland right now, preferably in the north, and have your own transport.
We are not confident public transport is safe right now.
If you get to come here, we obviously cannot force you to stay on our property, but the rules will be that if you leave the property for any reason without clearing it with us first, you will not be allowed to return.
We can offer a long term stay to the suitable people to wait out this crisis in a remote, and we hope safe, environment.
Sorry boys and girls, being senior citizens we are locking down for the duration, and insist that any guests be as careful as we are. We will be doing discrete jobs around the property where the chance of interaction with others is practically nil, while still having plenty to eat and somewhe... more inside

SORRY, WE ARE NOT TAKING ANYONE AT THE MOMENT.

Hi! My name is Natalie and my husbandís name in Damien. We are a youngish couple who have just bought our first house on 34 acres just outside Bundaberg, a small town in Queensland, on the East Coast of Australia. Most of the acreage is natural bush with endless trees and kangaroos!

Our house is a 75-year-old Queenslander in a semi-rural area. Both the house and the property need a bit of TLC and we would absolutely love some help! Therefore, we are looking for someone who has experience with home renovations or a possible tradie such as a builder, carpenter, electrician, plumber, or landscaper (or someone who is a good worker, quick to learn and is good at visualising).

We are passionate travellers and have travelled to over 50 countries together. We both love to explore new cultures and to meet people from a variety of backgrounds. We would describe ourselves as hardworking but also easy going and adaptable. We have been Hel... more inside

Chores include general hobby farm maintenance and some gardening/weeding and some renovating work. No skills required.

I have many projects on the go that I need a hand with, and enjoy the company of travellers as I have travelled extensively as well. I have an easy going nature and live in a beautiful area surrounded by large granite boulders and rugged australian bushland. There are many national parks and interesting things to do in the area. I have evening fires, outdoor cooking and am surrounded by large gum trees, kookaburras and kangaroos etc. This is a great place to relax and enjoy nature. I play some guitar and love to have a sing along with other people.

the accomodation is not flash but it is a safe place to be while we are in the midst of the covid crisis. Work would be general gardening, cleaning duties in the house, cleaning/tidy entertainment area. Just stuff/jobs I am having trouble finding the time and energy to do.

The chance to stay in an original 1890 "Old Queenslander" - built completely of timber. I have
14 very private acres of bush in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland (sub tropical)...just 20 minutes from the beaches of Mooloolaba and Maroochydore and 100km north of Brisbane. The acreage is an old over worked farm so I am rebuilding the soils so I can again grow vegetables etc. At present I am creating gardens and lawns and slowly clearing scrub and renewing soils to create more gardens.
Helpers will assist in all aspects of the operation - clearing vegetation, landscaping, garden creation, path and general maintenance plus bush fire prevention clearing. I am also building a miniature steam railway around a part of the property so welders, carpenters very welcome ! Usually go to the beach once a week and shopping twice a week.
You will be accommodated indoors in your own room - strictly NO SMOKING or drugs inside or anywhere near the house or during times of fire bans. I cook me... more inside
