Majestic views surrounding you on this totally unique genuinely stunning property with a dozen private waterfalls, cliffs, sweeping mountain panoramas, and ancient tall tree fern rich gullies with 100 wallabies at your door and abundant native wildlife. You are completely surrounded by wilderness in a totally private and peaceful setting. This is one of Tassie's most beautiful private properties with its own numerous walks.

Accommodation is your choice of either a private tiny house with mod cons near the main house or a rustic remote private hut in the bush, with a wood heater. The main house is designed and built with recycled material and a strong eco theme and profits from the property all go towards environmental causes. Food is vegan.

I currently need help with clearing paths and thinning vegetation in the bush. You will be moving branches and small logs and will sometimes spray stumps to stop regrowth. It is manual work for 3 hours a day. I respond to all personal messa... more inside

...The Quiet Retreat , a Lifestyle Property...!!!

With only the help of real hard working wwoofer's/HelpX's , I started to built the house and clear the land , so this place is a BIG credit to all my helpers who worked hard , enjoyed their stay and left their footprint..!!!

As a wwoof host for 25 years , now I feel that for the helpers who come here , maybe , apart from the usual work , self improvement/development could be one of their priorities... a good library of books is available and some very nice music...

In the past I practiced Vipassana meditation/looked at Zen/Osho/Gurdjieff etc ...some of it is incorporated into the life here..LOL..

Bush walking , connecting and appreciating nature, gardening, yoga , that is my young wife's specialty...

A Private Forest Reserve , 80 acre property, not a farm , not a party place , very very quiet here , lots of bush and lots of native animals...yes, wallaby's , wedge tail eagles , wombats , spiders , very friendly leeche... more inside

We are looking for helpXers at our property in Bridport, North East Tasmania. We would like you to help us in the garden, we will also need some help replacing one of the fences soon. We work with you.

When you message us please state the exact dates you would like to come and help please. Also please don't message if you really have no intention of coming to Tasmania. We get many requests, we agree and then the helpers change their minds and others miss out. That's not a fair system.Thank you for your understanding.

Can anyone tune a piano? Just thought I'd ask.

We are a couple, with grown up children, who have travelled extensively and now operate an accommodation business on our small property.

The property is near to wonderful swimming beaches and nature walks, and the town has a variety of shopping available. We are located 50 minutes drive from Launceston.

We require varied help around the property such as cleaning, gardening, woodsplitting and gathering, pain... more inside

My husband I live on approximately 12 hectares with most of it being native bush. It is not a farm. Sadly, we don't grow anything and we have no animals.

We are not vegetarians so we have meat with most meals. We are non-smoking, so NO smokers please. We also enjoy social drinks.

From the beginning of October we would really appreciate help with the maintenance of the house, yard and pasture. There is almost everything and anything to be done. The work may require using a brushcutter, chainsaw, ride-on mower, axe/splitter, garden tools, weed sprayer, and some hard yakka with a pick and hoe. What needs to be done is gardening, weed management, fencing, and building raised garden beds and some small building/renovation jobs.

We are happy to try different food so if you can cook, you are most welcome to share the cooking.

My husband is a building designer and project manager and works as a sole trader, and I am a public servant with a background in community deve... more inside
