I would love help with my long narrow garden which opens onto another larger area of land where I have a polytunnel and raised beds. I have 4 very shy cats who sleep in the conservatory/studio. I am a non-smoking vegetarian/vegan and love preparing food, so you would be well fed - all meatless meals :-)
I have only just signed up on Helpx so for now I can't think of anything else you might want to know. Please contact me if you have any questions and are interested in a week or so in Killyleagh - and see some of this area on the shores of Strangford Lough.

Help required now to help some house work and some farm work. Our farm is in a very rural mountainous area, great for strong walkers, there is also the Glenariffe National forest Park beside us. There will be some gardening to do as well as keeping the grounds tidy and lots of weeding in the vegetable garden. There will be work helping to do fencing , painting, striming the grass and cut lawns with the lawn mower. We are a member of the Northern Ireland food certification chain. The welfare of our animals is of the utmost importance. We are a home educated family with two girls aged 4 and 2. We unschool. We started a couple of years ago to grow vegetables every summer and will be continuing to grow and learn as we go - in Northern Ireland we don't get amazing warm weather. We own a couple of chickens and have a decent sized garden for a town house. Town is about a five min walk and has entertainment and beaches very close. Giants causeway is close by too which brings tourists to the area. We love learning as we go and would love to share a journey with others along the way :)
