Hi there.
I own and live in the former police station of McBide, a small town in the beautiful Robson Valley.
I chose the Robson Valley for its location, natural beauty, work, family relations and friendly people.
The young but mighty Fraser River meanders between the Rocky- and Cariboo Mountain ranges, nurturing soil and soul.
Farmers, artists, travellers and outdoor enthusiasts are drawn to this area alike.
If you are looking for a Canadian small town experience then stop by, bring your smile and your skills and stay with me for a few days or weeks.
Two separate living quarters of my house are beautifully redone but I lost my partner in crime before the renovations of a studio roomand a small bath room got completed.
Iím looking for helpers who have interest and skills for my renovation projects which are in the reconstruction phase. The dirty work is basically done!
There is also yard and garden work waiting for extra hands.
My work as a nurse takes me away from home for... more inside

Greetings! We are located 4.5km past Telegraph Creek, British Columbia, on a 98 acre property. My husband and I run a Bed and Breakfast year round. We are 100% off grid, using solar panels in the spring/summer/fall, and a generator in the winter months when there isn't as much sunlight. We have a small farm and expanding our garden site every year; we keep very busy! And we are needing an extra set of hands(or two!) to help us out.

We are looking for a helper(individual, or a couple; as it is a shared bed/room) who want to stay for a few weeks or a bit longer, preferably between April through to October(as these are the busiest months for us) for who would be interested in helping with the following tasks:

Gardening, Lawn mowing/yard work(raking grass clippings, pruning trees, weed whacking, etc.), Wood Chipping(for our garden), splitting & Stacking Firewood(we do have a wood splitter), Housekeeping/organizing, Helping with Building Construction, Fencing, shovelling horse&... more inside

We operate a small ranch situated in the Cariboo region of BC. Our extended family is nearby and family events and kids keep everyone involved.
We raise grassfed/finished beef on managed pastures using organic methods.(as yet uncertified). We also raise chickens and pigs for family use and maintain a large vegetable garden to produce healthy food for the family and some for market. Our interest in permaculture has initiated some nut tree planting and we also have made a start with blueberries and Haskap berries. Currently we are seeking helpers for later this month (May 2019) and for June. There will be some work with cattle, gardening, young pigs to care for, and the usual farm maintence like fence repairs etc.
Our lakeside log home offers comfortable rooms, laundry, internet use (for communication) and a piano. Helpers can canoe from our front yard and by June it will likely be warm enough for swimming.
Our semi wilderness setting is great for outdoor enthusiasts.

We are a young farming family who live in the best part of the Cariboo region of British Columbia. The Community of Horsefly is ideal for someone who loves the country life and enjoys the outdoors as there are lots of Hiking trails, lakes, waterfalls and wildlife.
We are looking for someone to help with taking care of our 3 easy going daughters and possibly farm work (if couples are interested). Our daughters are 7,6, and almost 3. We are looking for someone fun, outgoing, likes the quieter country life and hanging out with kids. We were hoping to find someone fluent in German and who could speak/teach German to our kids (and myself) as Steven (their Dad) is fluent. It would not be full time only when Steven and myself are busy doing farm work. We would even look at taking couples, or friends. please feel free to message me with any questions! :) We are located in the awesome community of Horsefly!

I primarily live on a farm by myself, 30 min drive from Prince George.

I stay very busy, I work as an electrician, logger, cattle rancher, and do horses back trail rides.
So clearly, I need independent reliable help

Feeding horses and cattle, stoking the wood stove, maybee even some office help.

Fencing, building repairs, cleaning workshop, home tasks, mechanics.

Each year, at the beginning of August, my son and I plan a horse trip into the mountains near the Yukon, for 3 - 4 weeks.

Some cooking and Cleaning would be welcome as well.

Hello,
we are a Canadian-German family. My husband and I live with our daughters and baby son (7 & 4years old and 2 years old) in the beautiful Peace Region, minutes from the town of Fort St. John.
We have two horses (Haflinger & Icelandic), a dog and a cat. We are looking for a person (preferable female) who is willing to help with some chores around the house, garden, yard as well as some childminding and exercising the horses. Experience with horses would be great.
Leisure activities to do around here are river boating, ATV, hiking, swimming, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, camping and lots of wildlife viewing (bear, moose, deer, coyotes...). Fort St. John also has a cinema, some shopping, walking trails and a museum.
If this sounds interesting to you, don't hesitate to send me a message.
