Hello travelers, nomads and future helpers and thanks for your interest in our profile!

Our farm is located about 1,1/2 hours outside of the city of Cali and the same distance from its international airport. We are at 1,450m above sea level on the western cordillera (mountain range) of the Andes mountains. The yearly average temperature is around 21°C which means we enjoy the climate of Medellin ("the city of eternal spring") while being close to Cali.

Our project started as a dream a little over eight years ago. The farm is inhabited by a Colombian-German couple and we mainly speak English among ourselves. We have for (4) adorable dogs and one (1) sweet cat.

The idea behind our project is a place to work in harmony with nature and the future goal is to reach a certain level of sustainable self-sufficiency. It has been a little more than 3 years since we started to plant a forest. Today there are around 8 ha planted in bamboo, trees from the region and others. With this we ... more inside

Hi, my name is Eber!

I manage a small family run farm in the fresh forest hills overlooking Pitalito town. I am looking for volunteers who want to learn how to care for and milk our beautiful dairy cows - Negra, Niņa, Niņo and baby Cassy.

The exchange will include preparing the food and feeding the cows, caring for the health of the animals and administering medicine, cleaning and upkeep, landscaping and field work and, of course, the milking (which means you will have a nice fresh bottle milk for your coffee every morning!)

I will provide everything you need to help with the cows and require only three hours of your time throughout the day. In this time, I´ll be around to give guidance and show you the ropes. The rest of the time, you will have this peaceful mountain ranch all to yourself.

We have basic rural accommodation on the farm, including private bedroom with bed and blankets, gas and wood kitchen, fridge, bathroom and shower and watering hole for hand washing ... more inside

This is a peace and justice organization on the Caribbean coast of Colombia that has a farm used for production and educational purposes. We are in the rolling, savanna eco-system in the province of Sucre, just outside the city of Sincelejo. Our farm was once used for cattle grazing and much of it was over-grazed and degraded, but other parts still have some trees. We have also planted 500 lime trees, plantains, mangos, nisperos, and other tropical fruits. We also have worm beds to produce humus and sell to friends. We have 2 ponds that we are renovating and hope to stock with fish and have some animals (chickens, dogs, cats, turkeys, red-footed turtles, and a Grey-bellied night monkey named Martino, who is totally free, but shows up each night for a treat. We have also howler monkeys and sloths on the property which is amazing since the area around us is pretty denuded. We are looking for a hard-working, friendly, willing person to help plant trees (woody and fruit),work in the veget... more inside

We are an English (Steve) / Colombian (Diana) couple in our 30s/40s. We are privileged to live in our own little slice of paradise, a 7-hectare farm, with spectacular canyon views to one side, and our own accessible patch of river on the other. We have our own waterfalls, and are within 10 minutes walk of a series of public waterfalls. We live about an hour's walk from town, taking in breathtaking valleys and small-scale coffee farms. Our aim to is to be entirely self-sufficient economically and in terms of food.

We are working towards achieving food self-sustainability, using the principles of Permaculture to try and reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible. We have taken local courses on organic farming, and are slowly working to improve the soil health. We are trying to adapt our diet to more traditional local foods, including 'Achira', manioc, Plantain/Banana, Sweet Potato, Wild rasberries/blackberries, sweet cucumber, Yota, etc. However, we have been mostly d... more inside

We are two brothers with the adventure of a hostel in Bogota that started in 2016. We are both young and enthusiastic about any adventure, easy going and open minded. We enjoy talking to other people and learning about other cultures. We hope to meet volunteers fun, easy going and active just like us.

The kind of help we need is mostly recepcion work, 2 a week and socialising with the guest. It is extremely important for us that you as a volunteer are willing to enjoy the night life with the guests, make them have fun and be a good host. It is going to be quite easy and we divide tasks among permanent employees and 3 more volunteers.

We are also in the search for a volunteer to work at the bar. Their work would be mainly making 3 different trypes of cocktails that we offer here, make conversation with the guest that go to our rooftop bar, be in charge of the music and, if you want, organise some drinking games with the guests.

Volunteers will have a dorm to share in a 4 be... more inside

I am a single mum of a 5 year old and an 8 months old baby. We live in a 4 room house, in the beautiful little town of Tenjo, half an hour from Bogota. We are welcoming a volunteer who would like to help us, doing some chores at the house, cooking, cleaning and driving when required and the most important job is taking care of children when neccesary. The help is most needed early in the morning and at the end of the day, but the schedule will be agreed with each volunteer as the type and time of help may change with time. It is VERY important that the person interested to help us have some experience with babies and kids. It is also important that the helper is a NON-Smoker.
We offer accommodation and 2 meals 5 days a week.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to learn Spanish and get to know our culture.
